just to let u know as a fellow uke player, most of the sound quality comes from ur strings. so for anyone wondering why their uke doesnt sound very ncie then get higher quality strings. dont go around looking for 500 dollar ukes. hope this helps

Do you have hard strings on it? Your touch sounds so clean with no intonation problems and yet seem to be pressing down relatively hard on the frets. Awesomely clean, I should add Ken.

They are D'Addario Pro Arte. They are not particularly hard, but have a punch with not too many overtones. It makes the Howlett sound incredibly pure, but delicate too.
