@PwnedMuffin Well it was the one that i added to the description, i only changed the grass around. But after a few patches the grass was switched places regardless (wild grass mod) in the terrain.png, and i don't have the old files anymore. Plus they would only be good for minecraft version 1.4.

@PwnedMuffin The celshading is done by the GLSL mod, wich is outdated by now aswel =P. And with over 9000 different versions all with different installation processes and/or options..it would be a pain to explain. Browsing the GLSL forum thread might help though.

@jangofet555 This was in fact recorded on 1.4, but you can just pick up the shaders used and use the 1.7 version of the mod/minecraft. (Since it will take a bit before the mod gets updated i'm afraid)

@unic1horn1pony1rofl Doesn't have to be =P. When using shaders that aren't affecting the FPS too much ( like in this vid), you won't drop much in FPS. And i believe the GLSL actually lets the GPU take over a bit of rendering from the CPU, so with a reasonable graphics card and easy shaders, the possibility of gaining FPS exists :>.

@eleongo You can always just try it, if it doesn't work out you can just throw away the bin folder and download a clean minecraft =). (The working version for the GLSL mod is on page 215 of the thread btw, it's a unofficial version)

@gabyjumper I'm not that easily upset ^^, but most of the shaders will work with any texturepack. In this case, waving wheat, world curvature, and celshading will work with any texturepack (altho celshading might look funny with some).

The GLSL mod isn't up to date with 1.7 yet, but i have a vid on how to install it on 1.66. Black screen issue is usually solved by installing 64bit java if you have a 64bit OS. Or setting up java heap size. Feel free to PM if that doesn't work.

@Zack0 See the description of the video, you will see a link to the GLSL thread on the minecraft forums, the downloads for the 1.7 unofficial version of the mod are on page 215 of that thread =). However keep in mind that getting GLSL to work can be complicated for beginners =).

@Zack0 The GLSL installer on the main page isn't updated, you will have to download the GLSL.zip in that thread, and install that with mcpatcher. I have a vid up on how to install it for 1.6, it's rather simular to 1.7, might want to check that out, since it's a bit too complicated for the comment section =P.

I liked the wheat you put in, and the fire effect looks very good. However, this really accentuates the need for either: new cel-shaded grass, or no grass at all.

As-is, the grass has too many corners and too many lines, causing large fields of grass to look like a green-and-black nightmare.

The grass would be great as-is without the cel shading for vanilla minecraft, but you'll need a new kind of grass to go with this mod...

@INF1NIT3D00M Well, i edited the grass, because at that time the original minecraft 4kids wild grass wasnt *bushy* enough for my liking. Later Alree created different grass that fits the theme and the cel shading. Besides that, the grass and celshading, it's just a question of personal taste, some like it, some do not. And about the shaky camera, well i was just recording my way back. I just wanted to capture the *vibe* of walking around. But one can learn about better recording/editing ofc =)

As for the mods:

1. Grass is good.

2. Cel shading is good, mostly.

3. Mixing points 1 and 2 is very bad. Take out the grass in cel shading mode. It looks atrocious.

The world curvature is AWESOME! It looks like a tiny planet, while at the same time you don't actually have to limit the limitless generated area. The cellshading looks cool too, but I think perhaps the black outlining is a little too pronounced. It could perhaps do with lessening a little bit.

@wallofdeath123 All kinds of possibilities there. No other mods conflicting? HD patcher with just the texturepack works fine? Compatible graphics card? What version of java (32 or 64 bit)? Have you changed java's memory heapsize? Those are just the most common issues with black screens =P

@wallofdeath123 You can turn cellshading off in those shaders. However this will not affect the black screens. If you are running a 64 bit operating system, try out 64 bit java (you have to use 64bit *internet explorer* to download it). If thats not it, maybe there is a AA (anti aliasing) problem, thats a bit harder to solve since this is saved in your register. Check the GLSL thread in the disciption (i've added it). If it works, and you just want different shaders, ignore this wall of text =P

@YouDeserveToDie666 Common issue for ati users, Go to your minecraft bin, open the shaders folder inside it, then open the final.FSH (notepad should work). Then change the EDGE_THRESHOLD value to 0.75 to begin with, that usually does the trick. If not quite, toy around with the value a bit.

@YouDeserveToDie666 You might be best off taking a screenshot of the effect and post it on the minecraft GLSL thread forum (or just browse it to see if theres users with the same effect going on and see how they fixed it)

Unless you want to get rid of the intire cellshading effect, then you'd just have to use a different set of shaders.
