  • one match fire.... really???? I could do that when I was 10.

  • no sex?.. what better way to build body heat?

  • He made them do squats? Hahaaaaa. That's gonna weaken them the next day.

  • that negress is a dramatic idiot

  • All i need to survive is chuck norris...

  • @dalton41803 A 71 year old actor is not gonna do much good in a survival situation is he.

  • @beamerZ No:( *looks down*

  • They could of used the black girls hair for the fire LMAO

  • i like how there was a random coffee tin in the middle of nowhere

  • @RcUniverseGuy Yeah that was totally a plant, haha....

  • that black bitch aint even payin attention to cody when hes talking about the split match she is to busy playing with her hair to survive! wow she would be dead

  • Cody doesn't need a compass. He is part compass!

  • @Jumpybeaver yeah, he wakes up with a boner and its like a sundial

  • that blonde bitch is pissin me off

  • bahaha lol Cody really tries to scare them ^^

  • lol at 7:15 I can play that shit all day :D

  • look at that,,,a can,,,a nice size as well,,,lol

  • stupid screaming bitch... -.-

  • 5/5 Cody Rocks!!!

  • What is that shelter style called?

  • 5:40 he's explaining how they have 1 match, and SHES PLAYING WITH HER HAIR ?!?!?

  • a normal survival kit should contain : a metal cup, a knife, 1 lighters, a flint , and Rambo

  • @TheWallie2k I would add a power bar and plastic package of peanut butter and either a surviver blanket or heavy duty garbage bag and hooded jacket.

    Cheers Christine

  • If even one of the 4 people knew how to find approximate north with a stick, 2 rocks and the sun and about 30 to 45 minutes of time , assuming they know what way they came from by looking at tree growth while on the move they wouldn't get lost as easily.

But i know the show doesn't really start until there lost.

And I know Cody knows how to find north.

  • alot of you are assuming that everybody who decides to go hiking is a seasoned adventurer. I've known people to go out hiking with nothing but a walking stick and a damn fanny pack. The sad part is you can talk up all the game you want. But Cody is knowledgable to the point that he can adapt to where ever and learn what works and doesnt. Most of you expect if its not desert he should gtfo. Come on now the man is more then a bush hippy he is well educated.

  • that black girl is a bit of a dramatist.

  • @iworkforme well said.

  • @iworkforme yeah seriously! I thought they were VOLUNTEERs! If I were there with Cody I would get straight down to business.1- Lets get a water source 2 Lets find food 3- Lets get a fire going 4- Lets figure out our shelter. If you can do all this before sundown, spend the next day on -venturing around, looking for an open area for signal fire, making land marks so you can get back to the shelter, and dividing labor so that you can do this while keeping #1, 2, and 3 in check! FUCK THE DRAMA

  • Great Video

  • A real pack contains: Lighter Compass Water Bottle knife blanket 2 Big Macs bottle of rum 1/2 oz high grade marijuana papers scissors
  • ALL "typical" dayhike kits should have a knife, a lighter, and a metal container. if you dont have those 3...what are ya doin?

    10 peice kit.

    Knife

    lighter

    metal bottle

    saw

    wool blanket

    compass

    whistle

  • tarp

    para cord

    pair of socks

it all fits in a buttpack and a bedroll, and costs under $100

ill never eat bugs, cause i can hunt, fish, and forage.

Cody is an expert in his area, but its the same basic skillset, and state of mind

  • @dreamthinker79 foraging has alot to do with gathering bugs.

  • @dreamthinker79 Somehow when somebody like you says something like this, I can't help but think it's horse shit. Arrogant people never seem to last very long in the woods.

  • @MrVoiceofreason123 Pardon?

  • what could be done if there was no metal can found?

  • Filolll: Not too much, catch rain, mop up dew with a piece of clothing (wring + drink) but likely you would have to brave drinking potentially contaminated water. I always carry a stainless steel water bottle when hiking, heavier but worth it.

Bottom line is you need to start a hike prepared with survival essentials. Your homemade kit should match the terrain, season, weather, your familiarity with the area and risk factor (ex. low risk for a morning 1 hr hike you have done 9 times before).

  • you can burn out a bowl. Just take a log, and place hot coals on it, and repeat, till the coals burn down, and creates a bowl. Then to boil, you can place hot rocks in the water, watch out for exploding rocks.

filtration can be an option, specially if there are no other options, but even boiling does not create clean water, it creates dead water. can't boil murcury out of water.

you could make a solar still. and there is something to be said about knowing what water sources to use

  • a little bit of garlic. lol

domesticated humans returning to momma. priceless.

  • I love when he talks about the division of labor. Lol at the guy yelling and Cody commenting on it. 7:15

  • these guys have no bush knowledge most "day hikers "wouldnt know how to use a bow drill

  • @gaelicwinds We need to start a bow drill day hiker's club lol

  • the match trick was awesome, just tried it :)

  • They have a shoelace...they can start a fire.

  • during part one i think the best thing to have done was use the creek and get some water, and good grief this is scary to see so many paeople with no clue of there surroundings i know it could be difficult but still take some precautions like little flags or something
