At 1:20 it looks like Ruth Gordan from behind at the Actors Studio reunion for the Strasbergs. I wonder if it is her? And, look who is standing right beside Marilyn, none other than Fanchot Tone! Joan Crawfords ex-husband. Everyone knows Joan hated Marilyn, and was intensly jealous of her youth, beauty, and fame. She dissed her every chance she got, she may have hired a killer had she seen this picture with her old love, hey, maybe she in fact did.

Disagree with you...first of all, Marilyn would never have become a 'hag', that is a revolting word to apply to anyone of age...E. Taylor just died. She lived a long life and after her death we celebrated her beauty in youth and her accomplishments to mankind as she got older. I think Marilyn would have given back, had her 'causes' and would have been still been adored, just like Liz. I guess the world isn't as shallow as you...hag? you are an idiot...

Once one has seen what brigit Bardot became when she grew old one does not dwell much on pics of her when she was young. In the world of media icons and sex symbols one is only as good as ones last image. What we are looking at is not Marilyn at all, it is what we have created. Images are not people. What we think of as Marilyn never existed except in peoples minds, the reality was quite different. It stays attractive way only because she died. We consumed her, she lost the game.

If she had lived to be an old hag then few people would be posting all of her old pics. The knowledge of what she turned into through age would always be in our minds when we see the youthful pics and any admiration of her youthful beauty would be immediately countered by a reminder of the old hag she became and we would be feel revulsion for our initial attraction.
