  • AMAZINGGG

  • Thankyou, hadn't seen this before!!

  • 04:44 sixth sense

  • No video on youtube is rare.

  • @Maruragakari RARE interview, scrubnub

  • 2 Chuck Norris fans

  • Bruce Lee was an Amazing Man his expression impacted the world

  • hm im surprised bruce didnt say "its not the style its the artist/person"

  • Why is it when there is a person that can really help the whole world do they get taken away from us? "Using no way as way, having on limitation as limitation". R.I.P Bruce Lee.

  • @rosenthal81 Because even the gods start fearing them......

  • @rosenthal81 Its because it is the highest of respect that one must be remembered. If he fell from grace later in life his teaching would be dismissed. This way, his death, we only are able to remember him at his best, physicaly and spiritually thus making him a legend of Martial Arts and life.

  • His way of thinking and applying his education is what impresses me. My wife is also a philosophy major and she speaks just as Bruce Lee lol.

  • LMAO at 6:10 the fight only lasted 3 min because his opponent spent most time running from him....

  • @truesubstance lol!!

  • LOL OMG craaaaazy side kick 8:50 hahaha

  • ~This clip was taken from the excellent Bruce Lee documentary called ''Bruce Lee A Warrior's Journey''.

  • Fighting Black Kings Movie Kyokushin Karate Intro. Soshu Oyama in New York City (later founded US Oyama Karate) in Mas Oyama's first World Karate Tournament in Japan 1975. APologies, thought it was 1976.

  • By the way, This event took place in Japan.

  • @JKT6 Absolutely. However, in 1976, there was a huge bare knuckle tournament where martial artists were invited from all over the world to compete (think a Kumite' type event only this really happened ;p). What impresses upon me the most is

  • (a) Bruce Lee would have attended this (b) When Chinese martial arts was represented, it was defined as weak and pathetic. (c) Lee would have been infuriated with the "stylists" that had been invited (d) it is quite likely Lee would have himself stepped into the ring out of anger

  • mendenhall

  • Traditional kungfu's form, unleashes maximum performance from the body. If the form is done inaccurately, the body would be in ruin. Because of this, we can't mix martial art senselessly. All mixing procedures must be done scientifically, to ensure everything is harmonized.. Therefore, I only agree partial of Jeet Kuen Do's theory. I still like the practicality though. :)

  • Racial division and Bruce united

  • really rare

  • Wow, he would have been even more famous if he was still alive right now. Yes he is very famous now. But he would be a billionaire if he were still alive! R.I.P.

  • his English is pretty good! What a legend!

  • JDK Jedi

  • Man I love Ip Man!

  • ha the chinaman that was running away from him, shits hilarious.

  • Bruce Lee = GOD

  • If yo try to find the real origins of mma u should now look for bruce lee or the gracie family or any modern martial artist, actually mma is not very different to an ancient greek style of fighting called pankration, the ancient greek invented wrestling(greek style of course) and boxing and pankration is basically a mixture of both now in mma you can clearly tell the asian influence on kicking, specially from thailand and korea

  • Damm how could a man this AWESOME!!! So unique Just DIE!!!

  • @BoriquaRikan1227 In the words of one of his own doctors "There's no such thing as being TOO healthy. Thats what killed Bruce Lee".

  • Bruce Lee is the legend, also little people know that Bruce Lee was 1/4 german :D

  • @CroPETROforever I knew that his mother was part German.

  • 2 dislikes... was it chuck norris and boogeyman?

  • whats the name of this documentary

  • There will never be another Bruce Lee. No one will ever come close to his accomplishments. RIP my long time idol.

  • ..Why are people talking about Bruce as if he died? Bruce's legacy lives on.. look at the top MMA fighters/Kickboxers/Martial Artists in the world past and present.. ..Anderson Silva, Georges St.Pierre, Bas Rutten, Gung Le, Manny Paquiao , Donnie Yen, Tony Jaa etc etc all have Bruce as their number ONE idol. Bruce Lives on and he will continue to be a massive influence for generations to come.

  • Death cheated Bruce Lee because he kept beating it at life.

  • My god if Bruce Lee is to still be alive today (in his 70's)

Imagine how far he would've took his knowledge and research of combat.

Imagine how much more developed jeet Kun Do could've been.

Street fighting as we know it would be completely differnent.

  • Can you imagine if Bruce Lee was alive today how much accumulated knowledge of today's ground fighting. He waould've still been ahead of his time in fighting techniques.

  • i always find it interesting that bruce lee was a philosipher. Mind and body were at their peak sadly his spirit wasn't up there too and thus he died. just my opinion I'm sure a lot of people think i'm wrong (most of my friends lol) and i'm ok with that. =)

  • He was way ahead of his time... way ahead!!

  • Bruce Lee has a scrapbook about different types of martial arts???? How come I've never heard of this before and what happened to that book? It needs to be preserved and brought into the public eye.

  • @GetDamage it's been published you can probably find it at the library i've found a copy it's pretty interesting. I'm not sure what the name is but look under books authored by bruce lee you should find it. He only has 3 books accredited to him.

  • that's what my dad always tells me

  • Oh wow. Is that a very young Sammo Hung at 9:49?

  • 0:23 He looks quite dapper.

  • beautiful

  • hes no legend!..

    HES A GOD.!

  • Nice find, I think it was taken from one of the more recent docus on Lee's life.

  • check out my videos to see examples of the JKD philosophies mentioned @ 3:45, Simplicity, Directness, and Economy of Motion.

  • OMG, the one most epic battle by bruce lee, probably, was missed and only seen by his widow.

  • @skulljoint He fought well. ):

  • looks like we got one die hard chuck norris (no offense to the ones who still like bruce lee)

  • numero 1 Bruce!!

  • Vorrei fosse ancora fra noi.....che uomo sarebbe diventato!! ancora di piu!!

  • CHUCK NORRIS DISLIKED THIS VIDEO

  • @SeniorThe12 lol

  • "The way of the intercepting fist" Whoaw!

  • wong jak man from jingwu school was beated hear that story from linda about the challenge

  • remember kids the training the prayers and the vitamins all help. =)

  • 7:14-8:14 the stupidest shit I've ever seen. Bruce Lee was right because anyone with common sense of real fighting would know that fighting itself is unpredictable and spontaneous it unpattern and broken rhythm like he said. Ugh how can people not figure that out before bruce.

  • OM!!! how did he generate so much power!!! 8:42

  • Thats why u can't compare Bruce Lee to UFC ''brain dead'' fighters,,.mind body spirit,,..a totall creation of a Martial artist..artist of life..

He was meant for this.. he is Martial arts,,--.. in human shape.a prohpet.

  • according to dana white ufc president bruce is the father mix martial art mma and bruce used that gear 40 yrs before ufc and the tao of jeet kunedo consist the techniques wich are mostly used in mma

  • @haanhasa he taught everyone to realize you can always do better. don't get to hyped up about your art or ever think its the best out there or you'll lack the determination to make it even better. i think they made a tribute to him because they ask there fighters who there inspiration was and like half of them said bruce

  • I love Buddhism.

  • @SidNightWalker lol where is that relivent?

  • @purehotup

The concept of duality and cause and effect are huge parts of Buddhism, and many other Asian philosophies, as is the concept of constant flow. That is, as the video mentioned very briefly, where he got a lot of his ideas from.

  • Thanks for sharing this vid :) Its been a long time since I seen this Interview !

  • id like to know who that 1 idiot who miss-clicked dislike is!

  • its crazy how popular bruce lee became 37 years later

  • @Blackjesus3 Yes. And I still say that he's just as popular than Michael Jackson and more popular than Elvis. Global level.

  • @epics7 yupp exactly :D

  • Bruce Lee is the greatest. How do I know?

He's the only man to beat Chuck Norris. Theres your proof.

  • Bruce Lee is Perfectly The SuperAwesomeBest, at J.K.D. Kung. Fu. The Best Of All The REST, EndlessStars**********************To Him.

  • A true warrior!

  • Bruce Lee would have been 70 years old this year. It's a shame he passed away and also his son Brandon too.

  • Did his wife kill him???

  • @91Mrwilliams Seriously??? He died of cerebral edema. Such a shame...

  • shame he died young

  • handsome

  • so good looking!

  • sooooooo....could you perform in a fight or would you stall?

  • Bruce lee 4 ever !!!!

  • OHH! bjj is from gung fu? wow, i thought it was from Brazil....i was wrong.

  • I wonder if Bruce Lee would have agreed with the things said about him in the commentary. I wonder if its accurate.

  • lol at the unorganized despair part, at the same time it was showing those blokes playing tag or "fighting" with eachother.

  • dude, he has good english. thats one of the many things i like about him. unlike jet li and jackie chane where i cant understand what they say in an interview.

  • Incredible Bruce Lee playlist. The break from my studies was watching these posts. As far as martial arts is concerned: To many times have we heard stories of guys who have a black belt not being able to use it effectively on the street. The street has no rules, no bounds, & anything can happen at any time. Structure can have its place, but being fluid is a much better option. An important note for anyone to remember: It's not fear, it's adrenaline, & it just made you stronger, don't fear it.

  • great master of jeet kon do and philosofer, and he is funny somehow

  • so handsome and well-spoken

  • "dry-land swimming" LOL.

Bruce was WAY ahead of his time. The real grand-daddy of Modern MMA!!

  • What I loved about Bruce Lee is that he was a well rounded person. He's well spoken, he can dance, and he's buried in Seattle so I can see him anytime.

  • WOW! BRUCE LEE'S HOT!!!! & HE RRUULLEEEZZ!! no one will ever top him! =D (like in comedy, no 1 will ever top Chris Farley ;D)

  • Great martial artist. Genius

  • 8:44 now i know why they say his side kicks are so hard tat its like being hit by a truck

  • Obviously a horrible thought, but 8 years after this he was dead.

  • We should all aspire to be what the master has taught.

  • wow i ges i got little bruce lee in me i remember when i was liitle my dad wanted me to train karate so i trained karate 1 year but i never like it beecose we never fighted eachother then i quit and when i begun training kung fu it was totaly diffrent and i loved kung fu more then karate. kung fu its more street.

  • :D needs more views

  • Bruce. You will forever be a legend and hero. The true philosopher / teacher.

  • Is he then technically the father of mma?

  • @JKT6 YES !!

  • @JKT6 MMA isn't really anythingnew.

    All the arts include grappling,striking,ideas.

Only beginners see it as jus hands or jus grappling.

after enough training, you will find it ,on your own.

  • @JKT6 Not really, because even that he promoted the mixture of the effectiveness of martial arts and forget about the traditions that are not usefull in real fights, he was against the tournaments because has rules and the rules always stops you to do the best of yourself, rules don't allow a fluent fight, rules are necessary to protect the fighters because is a sport, but bruce lee thoughts are made for real fight situations.

  • @JKT6 Yes and no, he learned so many styles but he also didnt agree with tournaments.

  • @JKT6 yessir he is

  • @JKT6 Yes He is.

  • From what documentary is this from?

  • A warrior's Journey

  • show me the way.

  • after 12 years of kung fu it is now that i begin to understand

    JKD. long live bruce lee!

  • bruce is truly a legend.

  • this isn't "rare"

  • Bruce Lee? Forever my hero.

  • yeah im serious about what i said - who cares that bruce lee was one of the biggest influences in changing the stereotype of Asians - who cares that he innovated Asian films and brought them into the mainstream - who cares that his martial arts skills were incomparable to nobody - YES I AM SERIOUS ABOUT WHAT I WROTE - did you want to tell me something new about bruce lee or were you just chit chatting - One day youll understand the word Joking look it up its a great word

  • It's not only the accomplishments you listed, that make Bruce Lee such a remarkable human being but the way he fully expressed himself and helped many others do the same. In order to understand what I'm saying you must have an open mind. By saying "who cares" "who cares" "who cares" tells me that you have a very small frame of mind and people who think in that mind set are the reason that not only America, but society its self has detached from important things such as honor and ect.

  • by you not understanding sarcasm and seeing my previous post tells me that you are quick to rush to assumption - thank you for the pointless post but I know more about Bruce Lee than his own people

  • your ignorint and childish replies only further prove your small mind set

  • omg at 9:50 that sammo hung O.o wow him n jackie were in a movie wit bruce lee n got ownd by him nice

  • lol yea chit you dont know what your talking about. You peice of chit

  • chit your full of Chit...

  • If Bruce Lee was alive today he'd be disgusted and ashamed to live in America and probably go back to Japan where he would fight the emperor to gain control only to send troop to Korea and release the two U.S. reporters then come back as a hero run for president become the first Asian president then turn us into a communist country and join forces with China to rule the world - if Bruce Lee was alive

  • why would he go 'back" to japan... hes chinese as far as i knows

  • i hope your not serious about bruce lee, because if you are you probably dont know much about him, he was a huge influence in martial arts today and is some of the reason its here in america

  • yep, that makes sense

  • @Chitownrunthis my frd ..Bruce Lee is a peace loving man..why would you talk some bullet like this man my frd...what is goin thro ur mind....seriously......... be water man my frd

  • I wish Bruce Lee was still here.

  • He is.

  • @Paflos: HAHA! One of my friends gave me that same answer. Of course, I mean I wish Bruce was still alive "in the flesh." I would love to hear his take on the world today. And I would love to hear him talk about his opinions on the sport of mixed martial arts, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, the UFC, etc. If I could bring any famous person back from the dead, it would surely be Bruce Lee.

  • @MagovernMartialArts yea me too

  • @MagovernMartialArts me too, am sorry he died. he was a very wise man, better than most today

  • @MagovernMartialArts yeh then I would learn martial arts.

  • hmm...this was back when he was still molding to styles. he hadnt yet confronted the formalities, etc. of kung fu and melded the styles to form a virtually perfect of method of fighting.

  • Bruce Lee is forever a legend! and an inspiration to the human psychology, a master of the arts and a hero in my own heart!

  • @mellowmushgrapetripp well, its bad enough he was hot tempered. i hope he wasnt a dick in real life; was he?
