  • f1 2011 career mode takuma sato owns evereybody in p1,p2,p3,q1,q2,q3 and race for the whole seson

  • Takusan!!!!!!!!!!

    A bit reckless though

  • If only they had put him in a good car...he would have been a champion. Such a shame they let him slip away :(

  • Sato, you legend

  • We need the return on Honda, with Kobayashi and Sato at the helm!

  • And thus Alonso ended up behind Hamilton in the 2007 standings.

  • I miss you SA F1 and my F1 kamikazee Sato San Takuma

  • a Super Aguri passing a McLaren ???!!!

Sato is the fastest Japanese driver ever but he's too mistake prone............

  • GRANDE TAKUMA !!!!!

  • Did alonso lost some points for this overtake? Could he have won the championship if Sato wouldn't overtake him?

  • @Maarttiin Yeah, of course ;)

  • fucking music man, it ruined the video

  • This was Super Aguri in only it's second year as a team!

  • like a boss.

  • fucking music

  • cool video thanks for posting it

  • Haha back markers not giving a damn about anyone. That's awesome.

  • Super Aguri FTW!

  • passes alonso 2 laps from the end

  • he is a crazy kamikaze!!!

  • I love how he taps Ralfy's rear tire at the hairpin. In NASCAR they call that the "bump 'n' run".

  • good eyes i'd imagine if the original commentary were on it would say something like "here's lewis" "now lets go back to sato"?? :\

  • i love u sato please come back!! that crap the americans call racing is bullshit :(

  • @PatchowPietro what??

  • Alonso have a problem on the car that day ¬¬

  • The mclaren driver is not alonso, he's hamilton! look at the yellow helmet!

  • Only in F1 could a battle up through the field be considered 2 passes.

  • 3:10

    BANZAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIIII

  • Exijo el regreso de Takuma a F1!!! geniooo!!! jaja

  • Alonso: You aint comin past me slow Jap!

Sato: Yes I am! Here I go! Bye bye, slow Span!

  • Takuma sato is faster than you Alonso xD

  • Circuit Gilles V. I like this track as always.

  • He had extremelt strong front end grip that race. You can tell by the way he closes up after the slow speed corners.

  • No wondered why takuma didn't lost his front wings

  • What's with the super gay music!

  • Sato will forever be the best Japanese driver, come back Honda, and recruit Sato & Kobayashi!

  • stupid music fk

  • I like Sato. On his day he was insane but unfortunately he did crash a lot and maybe took too many chances.

  • Sato = one of the best drivers F1 ever had. Alonso = A jerk and a bad loser. You can see this in the last race of 2010 season.

  • I do not like Sato haters, he has had some good moments and deservedly made the podium . Japanese F1 drivers had a bad reputation mainly because of the influx of prat drivers of the Taki Inoue ilk. Japanese drivers also have a more aggressive driving style and are aso influenced by the damp climate in Japan. How many useful F1 drivers have come from the USA or Russia etc.

  • @hicwron iv'e noticed there are not many good Japanese f1 drivers it may be that this race discipline is just not for them. I've tried looking at race winner records, and I don't think a Japanese driver has ever won a race.

while this was an exceptional drive from Sato, i think Kamui Kobayashi shows great potential to be Japan's excellent F1 driver, and hopefully encourage more Japanese drivers to the sport

  • @hicwron It's funny, the way it goes, isn't it, that Germans aren't highly regarded by f1 fans until Schumacher, or Spain is considered a breeding ground for champions of two-wheeled sport, but not four, until Alonso. I submit that on the day a Japanese driver becomes champion, fans will look back in retrospect at all the talent that has come out of Japan and drivers like Sato, Nakajima(Senor), and even Suzuki will get the respect they deserve.

  • @hicwron

Eddie Cheever, Mario Andretti, with the way it looks, Vitaly Petrov.

  • Best ever Japanese drivers

    1. Sato 2 Kobaashi 3. Suzuki 4. Katayama 5 Nakano

    Worst

    1. Inoue 2. Ide 3.Takagi 4 Yamamoto 5 Noda

  • Also in this video you can see how terrible toyota were on straights as the aguri outdragged it down the back straight lol.

  • @puddingpants7 its not just down to the car's design. sato probably got a much better exit out of the corner and was also in the toyota's slip.

  • @domdom87 Yea we can all see that in the video here... I'm pointing out the part when he pulled out of the draft quite early and outdragged the toyota towards the top end, which is were toyota always struggled. They were never very fast but had good downforce.

  • Great video. Have never seen this version with Takuma's other passes during the race before. Thanks. :)

  • @Alex5DX the great driver isnt seen from champion title

  • Phenomenal

  • sato is a good driver , I can forgive him easily for his few cockups he made.

he and kobayashi would be a great team together with a japanese manufacturer

  • i think this sums up alonso's ability

  • Thanks for the post......Perfect blend of music and race sound. Excellent!

  • I think this guy literally got possesed by the ghost of Gilles Villeneuve for those moments literally. just a brilliant drive

  • How did Petrov and Hulkenberg get a drive over this guy? Put him in a Red Bull, Vettel is a flash in the pan, when he's not in front, he's causing crashes. Sato much better driver.

  • Wow. That was really consistent, smooth driving. Very impressed. How was the Super Aguri that quick?

  • @amr7k The Super Aguri wasn't quick, but Sato :)

  • its ashame that in f1 you do require a bit of luck as some teams are prepared to sign you and others are not. i want this guy to get a seat

  • Sato is another driver that is missing from F1.

  • Takumo Sato is the most underrated driver in F1. I wish somebody would give him a seat in a decent car.

  • @carsismeZ06 Oh because the BAR 006 wasn't a decent car at all... The car that Jenson Button got his first pole and his first TEN podiums, AND every race he finished, he scored points in all of them. Sato on the other hand retired from more races, had less points finishes, one podium, and a best qualifying position of 2nd.

  • i would love to see sato back in f1, fair enough he made errors and took people out but at least he went for the gap, back then other drivers were content to just sit behind and wait for the fuel stops

  • It is perfectly clear he is a good driver. So why don't F1 teams sign him?

  • I remember watching this race live at 3 in the morning. Half asleep and blurring eyed I was roused to wake up by what I can only call one of the most exciting and brave drives I've ever seen in all my years of watching F1. I remember giggling like a giddy school girl when Sato made that overtaking move. An absolutely storming drive.

Sato was never the greatest driver on the grid but I will always have enormous respect for his grit and determination. Bravo Takuma, Bravo.

  • Fuck the music, use original sound.

  • @Schumifreak9

USF1? Haven't you heard? They no longer exist. Went belly up.

  • wow. for me that was perfect driving. If that driving of Sato would be a constant in his career, he would be world champion in like...no time :)

  • What a great driver Sato is! Always brings a smile to everyone's face with his driving even if he was very erratic.

  • ozzy!!!! \m/

  • Even though Alonso had a problem, Sato still made a good pass

  • F1 needs more crazy Japs like Sato.

  • @zelmaso Kamui Kobayashi is a good up and coming driver. Got into Q3 for Turkey in his crappy little Sauber (And if I remember right, he's been in Q3 3 times this season, Malaysia, Spain and Turkey). Lets hope his car makes it to the end of the race without breaking down or getting shunted by another driver, like what has happened in every single race so far... Even Spain where he managed to finish, he got shunted off by Kubica on the first lap.

  • blimey...how he didn't hit RS or FA at the hairpin before the straight I dont know!

  • he must return in 2011

  • @damiannerd he is in IndyCar Series with the team KV Racing Technology – Lotus

  • @miguelfb1 He's getting better at IRL, but his mistakes in the 2004/5 seasons with BAR were what cost him a good drive. Particularly 2005 - only 1 point vs 30 against Button.

  • well done sato! it was a bad race for fernando but sato did it very good and i hope to see him back on the grid in 2011!

  • that was the race of his life.

  • anti alonsistas

  • taku shoulda won that race, not hamilton

  • The funniest and greatest moment of the race.

  • Nobody tops the Japanese for occasional brilliance...

  • Yes it is Alonso he passes at the end. He was having a bad race...

  • wish he were driving in 2010 :(

  • Sato is what F1 need, too bad he never got the chance to drive one of top cars...

  • why was there like a minute of Hamilton driving in there? :-p

  • i think because he was the leader in that race....

  • cuz he got passed by Sato/ Super Aguri, LOL

  • @zabraoota no he didnt he passed alonso..hamiltons teammate at the time

  • @LeJimster it was the actual broadcast just switched to hamilton for a bit i think he was leading

  • 'Fraid its not really looking like Takuma is gonna get back in this year... 2 seats left, both at hopeless teams that might not even make bahrain...

  • I cant believe such a good driver doesn't make the grid, f1 became too money oriented, now you can be average just have sponsors behind you and you're in, Sato is awesome!!! If Stefan Gp can make the grid let him drive for them :)

  • i want to see sato back on the grid this year he was great and when he got the chance very quick

  • I hope he makes it to the grid this year. It'd be awesome to see him back again. I read he might wind up in Indycar if he can't snag a F1 seat.

  • great music, everything is great, just great :D 5/5 hubmik - my lastfm :)

  • very poor traccion of the Mclaren, his tyres was completly destroyed...

  • Sato to be re-incarnated as Kobayashi in 2010!!!!!!!

  • Sato is a talented driver, look at the super aguri, it was super slow.I hope see him again this year.

  • Comment removed

  • Well done, You've realised hamilton has a Yellow Helmet ...

  • SAMURAI SATO FTW!!

  • sato was a pain in the arse, point i thin was all he got in the BAR in 2005. going sideways and looking like gilles villeneve is all good but if your shit slow on the stopwatch your days are numbered, sato couldnt drive his thumb up his arse!!!

  • sato is a crazy driver but I like that, that's the kind of drivers f1 needs

  • You should of left the music out, but ok video. Great drive from Sato.

  • i was there that weekend. everyone in the crowd stood up and cheered when sato passed alonso it was great.

  • i do hope he is confirmed for 2010 ....

  • o trust me he will...the guy has talent personally i think hell go to manor...but thats just me..in an unrelated story Anthony Davidson shud get bk to f1 with brawn! :D

  • campos gp has their eye on him in 2010 so does lotus

  • What a Talent !

  • quit the music, idiot

  • Breathtaking! Hope he will come back next season.

  • sato>alonso

  • ur an idiot

  • why?

  • are people not allowed to have an opinion in this country?

  • what car is this?

  • Sato- Super Aguri

    Alonso- McLaren

  • thanks! what a brilhant overtake! great job SATO!

  • r-tard

  • I was there, great race, a big cheer went up through the grandstand when Sato passed Alonso. Glad Montreal is back for 2010 it maybe not a great driver's track but it puts on an entertaining race.

  • It's over guys, NO Honda/Honda powered in F1 NO Sato.

Kazuki Nakajima is the hope of Japan, perhaps will join Toyota in 2010 with Timo Glock, two 2007 GP2 stars.

  • honda decided to stop f1 so i guess Sato can join another team now.

but it seem F1 prefer baby pilot, very boring and without any great talent to real fighter like JP Montoya or Takuma Sato.

    its sad... and very boring

  • well i would call vettel a young talent, isn't he?

  • oh Vettel is sure a very good driver and Kubica too ( thats my favorite ). but i think young Vettel is over protected and thats not good for him.

my point is there is place for all young talent and old warrior.

  • sato is about 2321 times better than nakajima.

  • No 2322 times! ;P

  • Takuma Sato is the first driver among Japanese. Nakajima is no use. Takuma Sato is necessary for F1. Please come back early.

  • overtakes Alonso as if it is nothing, lol

  • Sato for McLaren!!

  • very balanced car that was...

hated the stupid part of hamilton though, delete it now... there is no relevance at all

  • wow!! sato the best driver of the japan.

  • takuma sato for me the best japanese driver ever compare to other asian drivers in F1

  • Why don't they replace that Japanese guy on Williams. He and Rosberg are terrible.

  • Fuck u!! rosberg is bloody amazing....Nakajima isn't though....

  • y u put hamilton in??

  • This is just taken from Premiere TV's fully onboard race broadcast. Whoever made this video just added the music, nothing more.

  • Well done Takuma! Alonso had one of the worst races of his career in Canada. He got off track in turn 1 like 5 times, his ass was kicked by Raikkonen in a damaged Ferrari (while Sato was in front of them:P) and then 3 laps before the finish this... The new teams can't ignore Takuma Sato, if anyone can bring home good points in a second-grade car it's him.

  • a shame he isnt driving formula one anymore!

  • sato was a good driver whit a disastrous car

  • great vid, im gonna go play some gran turismo and dream :D

  • a nice one bro....

  • sato.. the only f1 driver who started his racing career at the age of 18...

  • important for Company like TR they don't even wait for the end of the year, what a shame but I can understand the average people trust journalist they don't have necessarily the time to read other source of quality , they have a life too.

  • bad tyre temperature and for Vettel everything is fine, We don't now the truth I think and if he though he was not good enough he wouldn(t wait for a second year in F1 but in history we saw forever second place driver who deserved the number one most of the time, in F1 money is the most

  • Even Alonso with a maclaren become shit when he lost brks

  • journalist nos he is fired before him because TR is a shitty team which doesn't protect other driver which aren't product of Red Bull development. Look Kovailainen he is shit with Renault, he went to Maclaren and he becomes someone who is fast but it's shit. Even Massa is slower than Bourdais. He didn't start at the good place in champ car the team was devoted to him and now nobody cares, Even Vettel told he is vry fast driver. The set up of his car is shit, he always complained about bad break

  • Vettel come from Red Bull driver developement, he is number one. That's why his car has always the best engine and last improvements even if its not told, thats the way F1 works, Bourdais even complained about the start procedure which doesn't even work, some people talks about sabotage. Each GP Bourdais' car has a mecanic failure. And then journalist and TR says he is not fast enough, he doesn't have points what a joke. Look how is the environement,

  • Alonso is going away because he drives better and start accelerating very early sato enter faster and accel later, on long straigh he is dropped, thats not only the car sato is not the best driver ppl think super aguri or not he can't follow the pace of the two tims world champ. Remember in his first f1 car Alonso got as fast as teams like renault ...

  • Alonso is going away

  • alonso had problems with his tires or brakes...you can see how slow he is at braking... at the straight sato is almost chanceless even when he's driving in alonsos slipstream...the mclaren is too strong 8)

  • a pass is a pass... when i watched this race live the only word that i could utter was "epic"

  • True shot in the dark.

  • who cares if mclaren are sposed to hav shame the important thing here is Sato got a super aguri int 6th :D

  • HAHAHA, Alonso got pwned on a straight by a aguri , omg mclaren shame

  • Alonso have Brake problems !!

  • No,you just cant take the lose.

  • I remember watching this , and it was a great drive but the fact is why could'nt he of done this more frequently....

  • sato eres un dios

  • i miss sato too, he crashed every race

  • excellent driving by sato in the not so good super aguri (:O . I miss super aguri they were the fans favorite I believe. More so than ferrari or mclaren I think alot of people had a soft spot for super aguri :P . They were a nice guys team. I also thought 07 was a really good season and I liked the way the cars looked :D .

  • my words...

  • what's your words?

  • lol i meant that i think the sam ething like you
