Jeremy Renner played this part so well. this film really pushed me to empathize with Dahmer. i felt so sorry for him as a human being. Renner should definetly deserves an oscar. sometime. somewhere. somehow.
With a personality like Jeffrey Dahmer, they could have made the best movie EVER. All the elements are there but they need is a great screenwriter and a director as well. I am going to pass on this movie...
I don't like this movie either, I mean what's wrong with Hollywood. They have a character like Dahmer, such a charismatic and sexually attractive sociopath and what they all do, these movies don't cover his personality that well, I am just not satisfied with those movies about him... why they don't cover his childhood, his fascinations dead animals then escalating into humans, the feelings of abandonment, his parents divorce... not that much of a portrayal.

This movie is sooo bad and factually inaccurate....then at the end it turns into like a romantic drama with the other guy going, "Tell me how you feel about me!" and stuff...it's just so bad it's unintentionally comical. Towards the end I kept thinking back over the earlier parts of the movie and exclaiming out loud, "That isn't what happened".
Me and my mom were driving and we were talking about serial killers(my family and I talk about some weird shit!!) and she said that the whole reason he was so messed up was because he was gay and thought it wrong to be so because back then it was really hard on gay people and he was Christian too so that it even worse for him

This is pretty good. I've been more aware now of "different" people, and have some "odd" friends. Instead of turning on them, I've tried to help them. @xRandax94 - In a sense. What actually happened was that a man that Dahmer had taken back to his house and drugged ran out of the place naked and screaming for help. There were cops outside, who asked him what happened. Dahmer calmly came out and explained to the police that they were a couple, and just got into an argument or he was drunk, or both. But yes. Something like that did really happen.

The Asian boy stumbling out into the street is true. Passerby called 911 saying there was a "bucknaked boy" on the street. He was so obviously underaged if you look at his photo. When Dahmer came across him & gave his bs story about a lover's quarrel the cops on the scene didn't bother to investigate and when they reported back to the station they were laughing about it. Just imagine the suffering that could've been prevented had they not been ignorant pigs.

@xRandax94 - In a sense. What actually happened was that a man that Dahmer had taken back to his house and drugged ran out of the place naked and screaming for help. There were cops outside, who asked him what happened. Dahmer calmly came out and explained to the police that they were a couple, and just got into an argument or he was drunk, or both. But yes. Something like that did really happen.

The Asian boy stumbling out into the street is true. Passerby called 911 saying there was a "bucknaked boy" on the street. He was so obviously underaged if you look at his photo. When Dahmer came across him & gave his bs story about a lover's quarrel the cops on the scene didn't bother to investigate and when they reported back to the station they were laughing about it. Just imagine the suffering that could've been prevented had they not been ignorant pigs.
