You could be a hunter with bread, and the duck would immediatly [spell, sorry] back away, but if you begin to throw the bread at the duck, it might likely come closer, and in Abby's sake; the space ship related something intrguing to her and so she decided to stay, which then Chicken Little had to pull her away before she got killed.
