@arktana Im sure you can reuse them, the sponges are attached with velcro you could always clean it out, dry it, reattach it and put your own cleaning solution in it, no different than reusing a body sponge. But because i don't own one yet I would ask some of the people that have made reviews about it. You can order them on amazon for low prices or on a store website like walmart or target. The neutrogena wave is a good choice too it's cheaper so look around first until you find a good deal.

@arktana The neutrogena microdermabrasion system comes with the pads that last a whole month they have cleansing solution built into the pads, you can buy a months worth when you run out. I don't think you'll have to use it every day. I think the disposable pads may be more sanitary. You should check out some of the reviews here on youtube. In the videos i've viewed, i heard lots of satisfied reviews. I'm thinking about purchasing one myself there only about 20-25 dollars and the refills 8-10.

Nene is correct, I'm a Licensed Esthetician.. Over exfoliating the skin will do more harm than good. It can cause breakouts (sebaceous glands will think the skin is dry so it will send more sebum (oil) to the skin to compensate) also over exfoliating the skin can lead to premature wrinkles. Please keep exfoliation to once a week at most. You're a very pretty lady though, wish I looked that great with no makeup! :)

@OliviaEtte She wasn't over exfoliating though! If you are referring to Burt's Bees scrub, she states that if it's too harsh for your skin, to use less or don't use it at all in another video. To her, it wasn't harsh. It is common sense not to over exfoliate if it is harsh to your skin. Moisturizer is always a must.

@TiffanyNP To be honest.. I don't recommend them at all. I don't think they do much, and if anything they do TOO much). If you really want to exfoliate.. You can get a baby's toothbrush (Not an adult one) and use it in circular motions with a mild cleanser. Afterwards put on a good natural moisturizer.. Apply it using upward strokes.. Do this for about 3 minutes and it stimulates collagen and firms the muscles in your face. It's a mild effective way to keep your skin healthy and exfoliated.

It actually is not a very good idea. That skin that you are saying old skin, is what keeps bacteria out. It takes time for new skin cells to grow. By over doing this you might be more acne prone because you are messing with skin's defense system of keeping the bacteria out. I would suggest u do this no more than once a week. I am studying medicine and obviously we study the body. Thought i would share.

Question: I have my school formal coming up in early October, and while my skin is pretty good I still want to use a clay mask in the attempt to bring out some of the impurities that are underneath my skin. When I should I apply the mask to leave enough time for any impurities to come out of the skin and not leave my face all gross?/ is there a better, super cheap way that I can get the same result?

Another way to get great skin is to work out the sweat flushes out impurities and dirt and keeps the face fresh make sure you wash your face after you work out to get the dry swaet off, Works for me:)
