Thanks for the video, I love Arma 2 (hence the name), best game ever.

I just ordered an M11X R3, when it arrives I'll load A2 and record my FPS as a response to this video. It will be interesting to see how the new Sandy Bridge CPU and GTX 540M perform.

how well wd this run on low-med settings on the m11x

arma 2 is a very cpu intensive game i am actually quite suprised at how well that little core 2 duo is doing for that type of game. especially when its on high settings. looking forward to seeing what my i7 m11x can pump out on arma 2 in the next few weeks when i get mine

@CommanderMitchell Yeah, I think the i7 would churn out considerably higher frames than my Core 2 duo. I went for core 2 duo for a longer battery life, since I bought this to be able to play on the bus home or on the plane or where I'm not home. I'd like to now note to everyone that my laptop now has hinge problems, it makes a cracking sound when I flip the lid and it's extremely annoying how the monitor can't be poperly positioned without it dropping a bit..

@kyleisbored1 Well, from this video, you'll see that the M11x can't really handle games like this. The best looking and smoothest-running game I have is DOW2 on high at 1360x768. =| I sorta regret getting mine sometimes.

so its playable? i know 20fps isn't great but what do you think? is it enjoyable? i just ordered one but with with the "fake' core i7. I usually game on a ps3 but i needed a laptop. so since i have a "gamin" laptop i think i might try this out. but before i waste $40 on steam i want to know if its worth it.

@DownhillDestination Nah. I really don't touch games on my desktop if I get less than 20 FPS. I dunno about your i7 though. It should run smoother, but I don't expect much. Also, have a look at the MSI GX660, It seems pretty comparable.

dude did you use the gpu? couse sometimes the laptop uses the intel graphics driver instead of the nvidia gpu
