Madhuri proves here, I think, that she´s not just an actress great at her job. She actually seems to be a good human being too. She comes across as intelligent, humble and clear minded. I admire how she puts the family first but still doesn´t look down on her craft or disappoint the fans. It takes a lot of guts in these days to be able to say that one prioritizes family but also wants to keep pursuing ones passion.
The main problem is, Madhduri will not do many films, so it is hard to work in spite of her enormous power. Amitabh keeps doing films, he does not care about hit or flop, and even the roles. His message is, I want to do films as many as possible. That is why, he is able to maintain it. Madhuri will not do any roles, and on top of that, for her it is not possible now to do so many films.
I think its good that she's carefully choosing which films she wants to do. Too many actors in Bollywood now make far too many films just to remain in the spotlight. Her priorities are wiv her family and rightly so. Enough respect for Madhuri, she such a down to earth person!

The concept behind Aaja Nachle's was good--it's about time a strong female role exists in Bollywood without the need for a leading male to validate it--but the script for Aaja Nachle wasn't grand. Still, the movie was good. Everyone was good in the movie. And, it goes without saying that Madhuri was perfect in Aaja Nachle. Want more Madz!
Agree completely. She did complete justice to the script, but the script failed her. She was the perfect choice for the female protagonist! Want to see Mads doing more mantstream cinema. Another Yashraj with SRK maybe?
I agree with you! If not another Yashraj with a better script + SRK, then another Sanjay Leela Bhansali movie + SRK (just nothing in the manner of Sawaariya because Rani Mukherjee was the only reason to watch that one besides admiring the lush color of the scenes).
