My all black, long-haired baby, aptly named Eartha Kitty, came from a litter of otherwise purebred Himalayans. Needless to say, some Black dude snuck in through the cat door one night for a successful romp of kitty delight. It was sad that the owner/breeder rejected this girl, but I feel so lucky to have been given the gift of the smartest cat in the world. She is downright gorgeous, too.

The adult sealpoint in the video had 3 black kitties, long silky hair. So beautiful! But I can only take care of so many. Little Heka's littermate you see here leaves me next Sunday for her new home, they'll be 8 weeks old on Friday.
