  • Its a piece of art, they should leave it the way it is, it would be a sin to chance it after 20 years, plus the local hobos would be devastated.

  • A stone slab staircase?! cool! and that big tree of a post is such an awesome idea!

  • good idea, a stone house. It is crazy looking, but the stone is beautiful

  • thanks for a great video, The house is spectacular, a real work of art. Beautiful mosaic like construction. There is no way anyone in their right mind could destroy that. Maybe a structural engineer can do a pro bono or low cost analysis... maybe a school of engineering / architecture department / student could take this on as a project.

  • @PaulRon2008 I'm writing from my nephew's computer, am the guy who built the stone house in NS. You can write to me if you want at stonearchitecture@yahoo.com

  • that is the most epic house i've ever seen

  • I would love to see that house, it would have been beautiful if it was finished.

  • Yes,they are trying to make him tear it all down because he never got a building permit 25 years ago!!....he has it for sale again...not sure what will happen to it!!

  • @lockeporter What is he asking for it, how much is the permit etc?

What does HE want to do? Sell or complete it? Any other pertinent facts?

Anyone who tears this down should be scrutinized with the utmost contempt.

  • looks like they are trying to make him tear it down because he never had a building permit ......25 years ago.....can you believe it!!

  • love the small love-heart he put in the small fireplace at 6:30.great work there.

  • I've been to Nova Scotia, one of my mom's favorite places and her family came from PEI way back when.. This is a terrific find and I hope someone completes the vision. Whatever could have made him/them abandon the effort must have been quite tragic I imagine..

  • What a beautiful amazing house. I want to move in too! Someday I want to build my own house out of unconventional materials like this. It's really a shame that people who come to party there don't pack out their trash. Shameful. What a beautiful place. Thanks for sharing it.

  • Dear Lockeporter...

Very interesting video ...where is this place? Nova scotia or Vancouver island(s)?

  • In Nova scotia !

  • Any chance you'll tell us where in Nova Scotia it is? Amazing rock work.

  • Lockeport,Nova Scotia

  • Thank you! I was in NS and NFL a couple summers ago. Fell in love with the region, would like to go back ASAP for a long spell. I'll def. head down to Lockeport next time. Amazing quality in that rock work.

  • this is so cool....where are you... once out on vancouver island i found something cool....similiar but different......you are right.. party house what a shame. you are lucky to refind something from your past and its still there.

I love your comments and if this is real i appreciate your comments, lucky girl..
