@cb7pwn Completely different, the Taurus is exclusive to America just as the Mondeo is to Europe

@cb7pwn it is different in many ways, most notable is the fact that in america that same 2.0t ecoboost engine generates over 250bhp, but the uk version is detuned to around 200 to keep the emissions low so that ford can keep it in the lower tax bracket so more people will buy it. Hopefully it will be possible to get remaps up to the american spec but this remains to be seen. Still a very exciting engine with alot of potential, watch this space...

@cglees if a customer can't afford an extra £50 a year for road tax, then they can't afford the car, or to insure it and have it serviced each year. The cost of road tax doesn't make a car appeal to people that can afford to buy one without venturing down the road of finance!

The diesel Mondeo is a lot better than the petrol. For such a heavy car you get very good performance and excellent economy. People only buy if the car is right for them and they have the money, nothing to do with tax...

@cb7pwn The Mondeo is a completely different car. It is not the Taurus or Fusion US (Attention, there is also the European Fusion totally different). The new Mondeo 2.2L diesel delivers up to 560 nm (as much as a V8 petrol).

@xXwhygodwhyXx Your a failure, read the description under "Tags", that's where it says "S-Max Galaxy" which is built of the upcoming U.S. Focus if I am correct, anyways, word is we will be getting a variant of the C-Max or S-Max, either way, I am excited.
