Come to think of it, why didn't our hero point out he's the one with the axe, and he could kill the guy with the phone, then tell the guy on the other end of the phone he'll use the axe on him.
Well, goofy and cheesy as the movie may end up being ("Severance" still has to be my most favorite horror/comedies, aside from "Behind The Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon.") but the idea of removing pieces from a victim so they can wake up every day with something else gone has to be a pretty sweet and sadistic practical joke. A non-revenge style to this idea would make for quite an interesting, sadistic practical joker whose motivation was for laughs. Sorta like...the Joker...? Maybe?

Seems alright, if you can get past the acting... Deadgirl was kind of silly though, did they really need a whole movie about having a zombie sex-slave? ...hopefully this will be better.
