The Captain can sing as well as play DJ! Need to see him doing some of the Intruders or Whispers. Look out Scotty & Walter....Fly may put you out of business unless you keep Nicolas around!! Captain....you are one of the few things I miss since moving to Detroit!

The guy knows what was going on for sure. Raynona not only organised the chaotic catalogue index system and stopped 2 songs being assigned the same number, but she had such a sweet voice too, appearing on many of the early releases with the !Rayber Voices" backing group, named after RAYona and BERry. Her one solo release WAS AS "little Eva", see my video response.

Many thanks for posting this, It's nice to hear her get at least some of the recognition she truly deserves.

Captain Fly, maybe you can answer this question: did you ever hear or play the Marvin Gaye-"Washington, Washington" song, his PSA for his DC hometown? The first 2 takes, along with a separate tape for the voice-over bed (apparently spoken word by the DC mayor or gov at the time) I found in an L.A. thrift store, the owner telling me the tapes had come from a storage unit lost by Al Bell. Marvin utters a swear word in his vocal at the end, which he perfoms with a live studio band. Know about this?
