Dr. Ghani, from my experience working with you, you really glow when it comes to policy, it really doesn't matter if you are not great in implementation, you need other people to work for you ! Good job !
If Afghanistan wasn't looted by the russian puppets, masood, I am sure we would have had more peace and no Taliban to start with. Taliban rose, because masood and his other mates were looting and raping women and children in kabul as well as other parts of Afghanistan. I am sure his unhealthy soul would be having a hard time answering those questions.
Slowly slowly this great intellectual is realizing the realities on the ground by saying that in politics of the post conflict society you need to compromise even with people that you don't like unlike the extremists and terrorists which don't want to compromise and just understand the language of hate and murder and destruction.Ashraf Ghani himself realized this compromise thing after a long struggle because he was thought to be very stubborn, hot tempered and hard headed and uncompromising.
He is an excellent intellectual and he perfectly suits to lead one of the Afghan educational institutes but he his mental and physical health unfortunately make him unsuitable for Afghan leadership. I regretfully say that he is very short tempered and that is confirmed by many national and international observers due to his unfortunate illness. The other thing is that its not necessary that every intellectual should become the leader of his/her country because other political skills are needed.
@MasudPanjsher what did u mean by that,is it some sort of misunderstood information ur trying to give about this genetlman Or ur trying to give a bad reputation to ur afghan leader?bt wat i have realized from ur weak comments is that after ur deep thinking about him u couldnt find something for which u could blame him.U WISH TO HAVE SOMEONE LIKE HIM IN UR TRIBE OR REGION.NP the world has admired him as the man of his words and the most intellictual man on earth.u have 2b a broadminded person
While the importance of unemployment in fueling conflict can not be ignored, it might be a distortion to conclude that only unemployment makes people Talib. We need to know the real causes and stop portraying Taliban the innocent slum dwellers who fight for food. After all, the amount of fund going to their part of Afghanistan is overwhelming.
I don't agree with the general definition of Talib Dr. Gahni refers to. There are millions of other unemployed youth in other parts of Afghanistan who don't do the same.

that was the dumbest thing I ever heard. There are lot of short tempered politicians. Ever heard of Jaques Chirac? Silvio Berlusconi?
Doesn't mean that its a negative thing.
