i own a compaq lte 5000 and 5100 and the biggest hard drive out of the 2 is 2.33 gb and cover that was discussed was the hard drive cover for the laptop and the compact disk drive is the so called cd player what was next to it was the hard drive and the cover for the hard drive can just pop right back on nice and easy and what is next to it is the battery. The switches on the side of the compaq are for ejecting the "cd player" and the battery.
You may laugh at the specs, but you gotta remember, years ago, those laptops were the best of the best!

What model of Tecra is that? Also, what kind of processor does it have? I know the LTE 5280 has a 120 MHz Pentium. I saw the Intel sticker on the Tecra, but I couldn't make out what it said. I saw the little rainbow in the corner, so it must be a Pentium MMX.
I have a 1999 Acer Extensa 501DX with a Pentium MMX.

Try installing The Sims, Counter Strike, Half life, WMP9, NFS2..rollercoaster tycoon II, unreal tournament 1, quake III or quake II.

I have even older laptop - Toshiba Portege 300CT with 32MB of RAM, 810MB HDD, NO ODD, 10.4" screen. I'm going to make a video about that one. :)
