  • Never knew where Willy Wonka's little musical key to the Chocolate Room came from. Now I do! This clever use of classical music only makes me respect the movie more! :)

  • And in "Zombie Land" when they trash that store, I wonder if Mozart would of enjoyed seeing how many mediums his music has been applied to...hmmmm

  • God this song is epic :') Mozart is king.

  • THIS IS FROM THE OPENING CREDITS OF "TRADING PLACES" WITH EDDIE MURPHY AND DAN AKROYD

  • @Beegees75 yes, that's what this is from.

  • @Beegees75 Uhmmm...no. It may have been USED in the opening credits of "Trading Places" with Eddie Murphy and Dan Akroyd, but it's ACTUALLY the overture from Mozart's comic opera, "The Marriage of Figaro".

  • @wanzenettl Oh! I was going to say something about "trading places"!.. but if one watches the opening and listens to this, the two are totally disconnected. sets up the rest of the film, omg. ;)

  • @yurianne07 you read my mind

  • who remembers trading places

  • Wonderful. Absolutely wonderful. What more can I say? I've been a fan of Mozart since the movie Amadues (forgive me, I as 10 when I saw it first open) and I was enraptured by his perfect melodies. His music makes you think openly of things you never thought of. Listening to this overture stirs so many amazing feelings! Thank you for putting this on!
