Stauffenbergs wife,from looking at the photo's of the children,was a master "Bowl cut" producer.God knows what bowl she used,to me it looks like either a large mixing bowl or possibly the coal scuttle was used to produce the three horrific "Bowl cuts" her kids have on their heads.One of them had a 4" overhang at the back.Where the hair was hacked back to the scalp under the rim of the "Bowl" producing a revolting overhang.Poor kids being subjected to a "Bowl cutter" fucked them up for life.

he should have left the bomb there and shot hitler, shoot hitler first , then he would get shot , the others would die in the blast after, most likely. staffenberg was on a suicide mission, there was no way to escape being killed or to make it out of germany alive, he had the opportunity to shoot hitler right in the chest. he was trying to save his own butt, though, that way, even if the bomb did not work properly, the shot would have. the guy did not have his head set to sacrifice himself

@bettygoodbody unfortunately their weapons were forced to be left at the door for just such a reason :( however, I'm sure an easily concealable weapon couldn't be to hard to find. However, he played more a role then just the killing. He also ran the operation when he got back, so without him the plot may have failed too

@dandude47 Yes, they did have smaller semi-automatic pistols made by Germany. Like the Beretta sidearm used by the Italians during WW2.
