When I heard this on Sunny Tales, I immediately imagined a sunset, a person who recently lost the amazing love of their life and a lively beach. I see this person flicking their feet in the water and tossing sand back and forth between their palms. I imagine a deep feeling of loneliness and a heavy burden of feeling lost or separated from all those surrounding them. It's as if they were by the shore, alone with nothing but their thoughts

I don't think it is drugs she sings about, "Discobiatches". Love is the main and one of the many things you can't buy with money. She has lost herself... either after a love afair or a love story, or she has lost somebody special, or she just needs to sing about it and make people think a little bit ;)).

@Discobiatches It can be anything, anything valuable and precious for a person. it sings "the ocean is dry...and when you cant recognize, anything solid". when that thing (in your case drugs) is all that matters to you, and when its not there anymore and there's no way you can get that "thing" back, then you don't have anything, theres a fear in you. Let that fear of being alone go, and you wont be lost anymore, you ll find your way back home.

What I get from the song is this: when you are lost, or have lost yourself, nothing will help you "find" yourself except for YOU; you can't buy acceptance, you can't buy "being found" - you have to first realize who you are, and only then can you see that you are not alone... You must live for something; should you lose yourself, you must uncover that something, and then strive to live for it. This is just what I get from the song, mind you :) Opinions ftw!
