All Hitler's dabbling in strategy did was mess things up for Germany. If he hadn't been so insistent that all orders go through him then the Eastern Front probably would have gone much better for him.

What we really need is a new book, a sequel that brings Mein Kampf up to date. A lot of what Hitler said about Germany in the 1920's does not apply to our situation today, but some of it does. Some of what he said was wrong even at the time. We need to think through and sort out what is still valid from what isn't.
