  • I can't believe it's that cold there! Here in California it's warm, sunny, and my garden is growing like crazy! I'll have to upload a vid for ya ;)

  • @PCOStherealdeal Oh it dropped into the teens on multiple nights over the winter.

  • I don't know. Even though you can't turn it, I think the freezing and refreezing helps break down the cell's structure some.

  • @SSanf Yea not sure, but definitely delayed the decomposition.

  • LA will be better as i hear from my friend there in duarte. does the compost freeze there. it gets 40s-50's here in mid winter in the day times. still feels cold though. suppose we cant complain look what most of america and canada had this winter.

we did have 4" of rain in a day or so, should have seen what it did to melbourne.

cricket ball size hail the works.

  • I found composting indoors or in a hot house works. I have several videos on the subjects if you like check them out.

  • @Revolutionisnow1 Thanks I'll def have to consider that next time.

  • Love watching your videos... and I guess learning what not to do in this case. ;) lol... anyhow... give us an update on your progress to LA!!!

  • @GettingThereGreen Thanks. I'll keep ya updated.

  • Yeah but when it taws you can do it. I compost in my garage all winter long....well I guess it's more like collecting my organic waste than composting ;) but still in Spring it would start to compost again, especially if your can is black.

  • @jihadacadien Most definitely. it's def more collecting than composting.

  • Still it"s only what we can do in colder climates !
