If there is thick fog then you reduce your speed accordingly until you have enough time to stop if anything appears in front of you, in that case you wouldn't have wanted to be driving at more than 50 km/h probably less

2) Traffic in the UAE is not policed properly. The police are very efficient when it comes to responding to accidents and when it comes to escorting sheikhs around, but day to day you just don't see people getting pulled over for reckless driving because the police know they can't touch locals, and if they do they will use wasta to get away with it - so it is pretty pointless to bother;

There are several issues in the UAE which lead to accidents like this:

1) People drive recklessly, but those who drive the most recklessly (usually locals - I have observed this over 4 years so lets be honest about it) are not penalised because 'they are locals';

indian and arabic are the worst drivers. india is a fucking shithole with shit roads, so the drivers don't have any basic manners like keeping in lane, using indicator lights. arab drivers on the other hands speed at a tremendous rate even in FOG conditions. the conclusion is FOG DID NOT CAUSE IT, bloody fucking indian/arab drivers did!
