helps strengthen the beginning phase of the lift, as you can see the bar ends further off the chest as opposed to laying on a bench where your elbows can come down further.

If you incorporate them as a bench substitute once in a while you will notice the effect n your strength.
They can do for you some of what board presses do without the need of a partner to hold the board too.
A close grip floor press hits the inner elbow in a unique way, at least for me, better than detail triceps work.
does this trigger the upper chest? i need a workout that stickly triggers upper chest , help me out bro

Definitely. To isolate the upper chest just adjust your position so it's more like a bench press to neck..
Stabilizing the bar while your elbows are paused on the floor for the press out also stimulates those stabilizer muscles and tie-ins in a unique way.
how much do the floor bench press work.. does it work?
