Cambodia is Buddhist Land and also Thailand. We both believe in Karma. Any thing you do will return to you from both believing. Why don't you try to create good world and living peacefully. The only thing we get after this world is the good karma and bad karma only
THAI TRADITION always feed DOGS & CATS even they are from the STREET, those animals are appreciate the meals they'v got. BUT SOME THAI have LESS DIGNITY & HONESTY than THOSE STREET ANIMALS. BORN IN THAI BUT TREAD OUR BELOVE KING.
Any mom fuker want to insult our belove H.M. the king please DO NOT COME TO THAILAND. This is WARNING of Thai people and thai government.....We love our KING as British love their Queen or Japanese love their Emperor.
United Nations Secretary-General Kofi Annan yesterday (Friday May 26, 2006) presented His Majesty the King with a lifetime achievement award in recognition of the global relevance of his call for a sufficiency approach to development. Mr Annan presented the United Nations Development Programme's first Human Development Lifetime Achievement Award at Klai Kangwon Palace in Prachuap Khiri Kan.
60 years that Thai politic hurt Thai people by conflict between the parties and fighting for benefits. But our belove HM. the King always care and help Thai poverty consistancy, evidence from the photos that make surprise for many Thai poverties that met HM. by surprise.
BobTucker2 Ur great. All those stupid blamers and haters against Thailand dunno ANYTHING about Thailand. They say: Ye You can buy slutz and rent hoe's for less money etc etc BUT Each country has it. In lots of videos its hard to go against those haters because they wont lissen. I tried alot too to let those people stop, but you can do it better :) Im so fcking proud of you ^^ Proud to be Thai =D
Mickey, drugs and prostitution are problems in all societies. Thaksin's government in Thailand dealt with drugs via the extra-judicial killings of "people involved". The result: 2,500 people were reportedly killed without trial. Many innocent people died - and the drug problem grew worse. Prostitution has declined in Thailand. But it is not gone. The King can guide, but these are problems for the government. The next Thai government will a true democracy. Perhaps it can do better.
Mickey, the Thai King is greatly loved by the Thai people. He is 80 years old, so travels infrequently. Even as a young man, the King stayed in Thailand and walked throughout the country to meet the Thai people. He has devoted his life to helping his people. From his earliest days as King, he set up and funded projects to provide hospitals, health care, roads, schools, homes and training to people who would otherwise not have had these. He is a great moral guide.
BobTucker2 Ur great. All those stupid blamers and haters against Thailand dunno ANYTHING about Thailand. They say: Ye You can buy slutz and rent hoe's for less money etc etc BUT Each country has it. Mickey, Are you so stupid that you need to lie to make your "points"? The number of drug users & prostitutes you cite in Thailand is more than twice the highest numbers estimated. WWII ended more than 60 years ago, but you call people Nazis today because they speak German or Japanese. You slander these people by saying they are part of an idiotic conspiracy. For you, anyone from the Middle East is part of Al Qaeda. You are stupid and filled with hate. How can this help Thaksin?
Mickey, the Thai King is a great man who cares the Thai people, and he is therefore greatly loved by the people. The King guides his country to democracy and uses his wealth to provide hospitals, health care, roads, schools, homes and training to people who would otherwise not have had these. The King is respected because he is the King. He is loved and revered because of who he is.
Mickey, The Thai King is a great man. He serves the Thai people, and he is guiding Thailand back to democracy. Thailand will be a democracy by year' end - the only true democracy in Southeast Asia. Mickey, thank you. I didn't know the meaning of ss's gibberish, but somehow I was sure you'd know. Thaksin has been found to have committed fraud in the last election & was banned from Thai politics by the Thai Supreme Court.
HATE SPEECH and now due to (Pro-Thaksin) trolls 100% FALSE SPEECH.
Please use your discernment.
If people do not know the ~difference~ then THEY CANNOT SAY THEY "believe" in FREE SPEECH. If you present suppressed truth (by all means DO IT) and you can stand by it for all eternity. If you slander/defame/ridicule you are not a champion of free speech, just...A LIAR.
CRITICISM MEANS PRESENTATION OF FACTS! DID THOSE OBSCENE VIDS EVEN PRESENT A CASE? NO !!!! [Bottom line] The King did not write, enforce or agrees w/ les majeste, he has pardoned EVERYONE WELL BEFORE THE CASE OF "SwissGuy" (Jufer). These vids DID NOT HELP JUFER. He states in an address that he is human and not above criticism and blames lawmakers before his era for the writing of les majeste in the constitution. HE DID NOT FILE CHARGES AGAINST "Swiss Guy".
now it's definitely acceptable to criticize the king on youtube according to your illustrations here, right? because criticism is not slander, but is illegal in thailand, no? do you really feel that youtube must be under the law of thailand? there is nothing about that in the terms of use. should we also be under the law of saudi arabia, or how about burma?
In connection with User Submissions, you further agree that you will not:
(iii) submit material that is unlawful, obscene, defamatory, libelous, threatening, pornographic, harassing, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive, or encourages conduct that would be considered a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability, violate any law, or is otherwise inappropriate;
I agree that some of the Youtube videos on the king of Thailand are disrespectful. But you didn't understand that those videos about your king doesn't violate Youtube's terms of agreement. The fact that some videos would be illegal in Thailand doesn't mean they are illegal everywhere on the web. If it were so, it would mean that Youtube should forbid every video that shows a woman without a burka, for instance (because it's not allowed in a few islamic countries).
I'd like to add that Youtube is located in California, so only Californian law, American federal law and international law apply to Youtube, not the Thai law.
In this clip, the poster did try to show that those offensive clips are not in accordance with the UTube's regulations. We are not talking about Thai laws.
But according to UTube's guidelines, it's written that "don't post videos showing someone being attacked or humiliated.... We don't permit hate speech ... intended to attack ... race, religion, or nationality".
For you, the clips entitled "The king of the apes", accusing the king of murder couldn't be classified as those forbidden by Utube, right? Why? Tell me the difference. Please show me an example of one which can fit with regulations.
I agree and most Islamic Countries are dictatorships and have appalling human rights abuses, and you cant speak bad about there prophet mohammed even though he was a murderer, a rapist, a slave taker, a robber, a liar, a pedophile.
Youtube is banned, because free speech is a threat for every military regime.
Article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights: Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers.
I think human rights are more important than the art. 112 of the Thai criminal code. Since the Thai criminal code doesn't respect human rights, can Thailand be considered to be a democratic country?
the president style is about "president rule the country", prime minster style is about "prime minister rule the country" not the king... the king didn't get involve with the LAW..
I think you should start to learn about Thai History ( a real one ) not a fake one from the ministry of Education. How about the story of King Taksin ( Prachao Taksin )??
You may be right about what you'd said on the 112 criminal code is not democratic. What's the definition of democratic that you'er talking about. Thai people as a whole accepted this code, not just it is a law but by the deepest of the very hearts. This look very democratic to me.
Ender1zero1@I sincerely pity you for you dont have parent like the Thai do that can teach you to appreciate respect. This have result what you are today. Cant differenciat Freespeech, insult and respect.
Guys, Youtube only leave these videos on to create more controversy. To draw upset people to thier site and generate more advertising revenue. We are doing exactly what they want. I think we should just leave. People that really matter doesn't have time to waste on Youtube anyway. So stop talking to those that have bricks where their brain should be, they'll never amount to anything. Those people that keep crying for their 'basic right' only do that because that is all they have.
Basic human rights are nothing worth protecting, maybe not to you. So according to you Utube must forbid anyone from saying anything that another group might possibly find offensive, unless it's calling people you disagree with stupid and worthless, please continue to prove just how much better you are then anyone else. Your doing a really good job of showing just why political censorship is an evil thing.
No it's not ok to censor someone and it most certainly is political, when a country bans a website from being viewed that is censorship that is political that IS WRONG.
If censorship is applied in Thailand now, there is nothing to do with politics. I'm sure every government under any Thai leader will do the same because insulting and accusing our beloved king can raise frustration and anger to all Thais. UTube is banned, not because freedom of information is restricted under military regime, but because this is a delicate and sensitive subject that hurts our feeling. The main reason behind this is to protect our sentiments and avoid any worse situation.
your king is no one special, certainly not on utube he is not part of the utube community and all the whining you folks are doing over some silly videos make you look think skinned and brainwashed.
