  • With a mechatronics degree what job can you get? ( what area)

Do you get paid a lot?

    Sorry for the english

  • Where is the Final project ? is it to eliminate the cantainers that are not Loaded to Certain LeveL ?

  • hangi üniversitenin öğrencisin

  • I am starting mechatronics engineering studies at Swinburne (Hawthorn Campus in Australia) on 28/02/11 and they have just opened up a new multimillion dollar building with heaps of new equipment in it. I looked at electronics engineering, mechanical engineering and software engineering but mechatronics compined all those fields into one that perfectly fits what I want to do. Looking forward to it (except the advanced maths stuff).

  • how does the machine sense the under-filled jars? using radioisotopes?

  • @shuwukong lol nothing that intense, just IR/capacitive sensor and you set the range to the level of the filled jars so when you dont get a detect you know its a underfiller jar

  • Where can I study mechatronics?

  • @TheEvilHeaven waterloo :P

  • @TheEvilHeaven well its rarely found in the states but out side there are more then expected, such as england, Australia, and a few more. in the states well georgia, and texas in tstc has a associates for it as well. but mainly mechanical engineering has the main part of it. its your decision go for the whole degree or just a peice of it. good luck.

  • This is awesome. I have a question, you must've used some sensors to detect as the glasses were crossing the plate, what sort of sensors did you use, and did you use computer programming to detect if they were full or not? how did your code interface with the arm/hand of the device to push faulty glasses off? would appreciate if you could answer, thanks.

  • @prankcalls420 you can use inductive sensors, they are not use any computer program they use relays and electro Valves, and there is no code interface...they use 3/2 normal opened usher, and hey just connect cylinder to a metal arm...

  • nice work indeed, and very neat

  • its a very nice idea for students ,,,

    May GOD helps in future

  • cool project. Whats the name of this song

  • Requiem for a dream

  • lol just buy a lego mindstorms and u can make better one

  • Nice job dude.

Did you do it by yourself?

  • Excellent project. I wish you all the best with your future in mechatronics.

  • this is actualy not that hard to make. but also its a nice job to do. whats my mechatronics videos!

  • how much is that project cost you.... i decided to make a prototype of that.... and i will want every information i can get...

  • LOVE PNEUMATICS :D come check our project vids out. look for "CurtinMechatronicEng" ... MECHATRONICS ROCKS!!

  • as a mechanical engineer

i hope to complete my master in Mechatronics Engineering

  • cool, dude what's the name of the song you used on this video? congrats!

  • nice job!

  • How did you overcome the sensor detecting the lip of the jar?

  • Hmmmm

    siemens S7 PLC

  • Hey bro. I'm first year engineering student. Looking to choose whether to do mechatronics or civil. Do you have any advice? Shukran brother

  • hello... i wrote u a personal msj... i hope u anwer back!

    Julio

  • r u used siemens logo plc?

  • The jars project is an easy one.

you didn't talk about your final project, I couldn't understand what's it about

but you did a great job.. good luck in the future

  • That is very cool indeed.. I'm gonna study mechatronics at university next year... However... the machine removes the jars a tad bit rough don't you think? ... did a jar every break?

  • nice project guys , u made a great control with the PLC, the senors and the mechanical system is great . but i want to ask about the type of sensor u used to know the liquid level from above as i saw from the video

  • hey guy! i'm mechatronic too! in IPN-UPIITA, i would like to meet u if u want! cuz i think it's too smart what i saw in ur video!... please answer me back!

    Julio

  • lolz! u guys knw how to use automation pneumatic

    well done :)

  • wow, very impressive, how does it know that the jars are underfilled? or do you have a remote control? I am looking at mechatronics engineering myself for the future... i study Maths B, Maths C, Chemistry and Physics, tell us what it's like :)

  • i do mechatronic engineering. Seems as if you guys have done some srs work there. Well done!

  • with the right knowledge...we can create almost anything...

  • Wow - thanks for making me feel incredibly stupid. You guys are incredibly intelligent.

  • Woooooow, U guys rock!!

  • This project is soooooo good. It is nearly as good as the robot made by Marc's group. *word*

  • nice project guys! keep it up.. and thanx AL-Kalbani for sharing such an intreasting video really!

  • mashallah..well done guys..
