  • Inside job

  • This is why people die.

Guards trying to be hero's all for worthless cash. Your life is more valuable than these Federal Reserve notes!

  • @im1greatman I have to agree. I used to work for one of these companies, all that crap is insured. Just get the hell out of there and count your blessings. The company doesn't even want you to do that crap.

  • looks like a inside job!!

  • I think this guy should get a job training terrorists to shoot.

  • He already trained them to do so.

  • bad aim? What are you talking about? This man obviously plays pool, and this is called a Bank Shot. The guard was aiming at the ground so the bullet would bounce up and hit the fuel line or the tranny.

  • Hate to disappoint all of you rocket scientists but this was hardly an inside job. The footage is from the infamous 1981 Brinks robbery in New York involving former members of the Weather Underground and the s0-called Black Liberation Army. The crooks were captured shortly after the holdup but not before two police officers were killed.

  • Sorry ur wrong. This video was about 1 year ago. It was an inside job and he was shooting at the ground. By the way i work for the same armored truck company and its changed its name since this video. Get ur info right bobforer

  • I have been through extensive handgun training myself, and yes stress and the fact that the guy is probably not trained very well contributed to his bad shooting. First of all it looks like he jerked the trigger, meaning that he was anticipating the recoil of the handgun. He is unconsciously compensating for the bang thats about to go off in his hand. His brain tells him to jerk the pistol forward in anticipation. That plus the rushing of the shot and added stress are major contributing factors

  • Does the security guard does not have a certification for using firearms?

  • What really stands out to me is that there is only one guard. Why just one? All armored car companies should have at least two guards to make their deliveries.

One guy can't be looking everywhere at once, which makes him easy to ambush like we saw in the video.

  • that gaurd was in on it and didnt want to shoot his friends

  • stuped video!!!!

  • Shells, for sure.

  • I used to work as an armored car guard... and I have a couple of comments. First, we can all say how great we are with a gun under controlled conditions, but very few of us know how we will shoot in a defensive situation. Also, unless the robbers were pointing a gun directly at him when he fired, this is a questionable shooting. I doubt it's and inside job, that's Hollywood talking. Finally, this is AT Systems, and they are known in the industry for being cowboys and knuckleheads.

  • did you ever get robbed? i knew a guy that used to sit in the back with a shotgun but he would never answer any questions about it

  • Your last statement was generalizing and incorrect. You cannot make a statement about an entire company based upon your interactions with one division of the company. I for one am glad that the guards did not get hurt as the situation could have been much worse. Also, its a guards worst fear to get robbed. Stick yourself in a situation where you can die and see how well you can shoot. Guards are trained but not trained under extreme stress situations.

  • You are right. I should not generalize. I am confused why you responded in kind to my statement about shooting under controlled conditions versus stress environments. We said virtually the same thing on that issue. I am surprised there are so many responses to this.

  • hehe I was making the statement to others who are commenting on the stress environments. Something else people didnt think of...When you shoot bullets, gun casings eject from the gun. Look at the video it was windy. So whos to say those dirt hits werent the gun casings? The video isnt clear enough to see the type of gun the guard is carrying. They could also be riochets off the car. There are several factors in the video. I honestly doubt the guard shot the ground in front of him lol.

  • It highly unlikely that the guards bullet casings would hit the ground at such impact despite the wind. And unless it was a BB gun, the bullet would surely pass thru the paneling on the car

  • Also along that point, if you look at the angle of the gun there is no way he shot the ground in front of him.

  • er, are we looking at the same video here? The gun is pointed up, it's pointed down, the only place it isn't pointed is directly at the car. Specifically check 0:31. The guy is blazing away like Bruce Willis in Die Hard. He didn't line his shot up and his breathing is obviously heavy and fast. At least he proved he could open water from a boat, but that's about all.

  • hahahaha

  • INSIDE JOB!

  • if it happened 3 times while u were working does that mean u died 3 times? lol

  • inside job!!!!

  • yeah. had to be an inside job

  • HAHAHHA

  • this is definatley an inside job,as metalalien79 says... they just shoot you and take the money... why would they then bother pushing him to the car... and how does he has the guts to fight the robbers when he (if innocent) knows he should be dead.. and also, if theres such a high risk to die... why work that job, at least loose the guns... thats why u get shoot, in sweden no ones has been shot when this sort of thing goes down, because they pose no threat to the robbers

  • looks as if he intentionally missed those shots...maybe a inside man...and shells dont hit the ground like that either 4 all u dumb ass people "maybe the shells hit the ground" shit please.

  • why dont u find another job

  • INSIDE JOB. OBVIOUSLY

  • Hard to say if it was intentional or not. I'm a guard myself and I know some guys that are that bad of a shot and seeing something like that would fit them perfectly. But if they guy is an excellent shot and this one time he decides to find the ground three times in a row... then somethings up.

  • people, that's probably the shells bouncing off the dirt on the pavement.

  • Shells dont fall that far from the gun and they dont hit the ground with a whole lot of impact.

  • Shells?Do you mean the casings?and it wasnt the "shells" it was the bullets.

  • he is afraid to kill the brothers

  • not to mention, this robber is obviously military/law enforcment. keeps his finger off the trigger, clean shaved, hair, etc. not to mention i think he is wearing wiley x's (military issue). you can even see the body armour outline under his clothes

  • a mill could have fit in the bag if it was all 100s, but why the hell would they want that much in nothing but 100s? and being under tramatic stress doesnt cause you to shoot at the ground. if you watch he cocks his pistol to the ground fires then cocks down again after the recoil, he was either a) in on it or a very unlikley b) very very very very bad training <- hints unlikely. this is insurance fraud all the way. guranteed.

  • Rickinsf, pride and ego are the last things that go through your mind after a traumatic incident.

  • Maybe he wasn't in on it, but didn't want to admit that he got taken down and never got off a shot.

  • Actually I'm with A.T. out of the L.A. Office

  • thats cool. im actually going tomorrow to apply for them, or garda actually. garda bought United and A.T. right?

  • They bought out AT... I'm not sure about United. I think they were bought out by AT before Garda bought them out..(think big fish eats little fish)

  • supjac, I would LOVE to know how you came up with this stat. Thunderstormgal8, what outfit you with ?if you really are on of us ? (just curious)

  • dunbar armored

  • who do you work for gonzo?

  • Sorry

  • i work for an armored company. yes it may have been an inside job and it does happen a lot, but just think, when your are under that much stress and scared from being just robbed, would you be able to shoot exactly perfect?

  • 80% of all armored car robberies are inside jobs. The media claims over a million was lost, would be hard to fit in that bag; check cashing places dont order that kind of money, so many things wrong with this video I'm sure it was an inside job. What if it wasn't and that guy REALLY cant shoot? Scary. They'll get to the bottom of this I'm sure. The perps story usually falls apart.

  • the security guard was in on it.
