PS: he is the villain in this game becouse basicly he send his relative to invade Iga province and they got kinda owned so he returned later and did it himself and destroying the Iga ninjas on the way cus they contributed partially to the prior defeat.
So they got kinda rolled and owned and the few who remained want to take revenge in this game. Historicly they failed hard in doing this but still i loved this game :)
Koei is one of my favorite older game company. I've never played this games though because: I didn't know it was made by Koei, and that I thought it was some action games that ripped off Ninja Gaiden. How wrong I am! I have to buy this game, it's not super expensive either.
These old Koei games were always so hard to get into because of the horrible graphics and sound. Probably turned off a lot of people who would have gotten into these types of games otherwise.

Only on zsnes I think. if you keep loading states and only saving every time the guys MISS, you can eventually beat the battle, I cant remember if it glitched the game, or if you just got sent to this screen or what. It will take you more than an hour I think, with loading states.
Yep Nobunaga Oda a master general, ruler and tactician he would have easily united Japan far quicker than it happened. But was betrayed by Mitsuhide Akechi who turned his army around when going to reinforce Hideyoshi Toyotomi and besieged Nobunaga forcing him to commit ritual suicide.
So technically assisinate is the wrong word as he commited suicide but still basiclly the same thing. But one thing is for sure he was NOT a tyrant!
Had to say this as Nobunaga's image as a tyrant annoys me.
History for those who don't know about ninja......Oda Nobunaga really did attack and nearly eliminated all the Iga ninja clans during the Sengoku era. The only known school of Iga ninja still remaining is Togakure ryu ninjutsu.
It' sprobably a little late for this but, I don't if you already know this but the "L button" toggles two(2) different speeds; the ninja sneak which on the actual game not "rom" you don't fight as often, and the regular walking speed, and the "R button" is your decaffeinated ninja which actually shows the ninjas agility/speed.
Just out of curosity, can you die in the first battle instead of injury, because that would suck if you could.

Nobunaga died in Honnoji, not Okehazama which was the site of his victory on Imagawa Yoshimoto.
Set your Sengoku history straight. Samurai Warriors doesn't count.
