Give them a break, this is when he was a young adult. I'm sure the new show is way after this (hoping) time wise, so the suit could have evolved who knows. Leave it alone this show was quite successful. Next ur gonna complain about cyborg because he didnt look like a cyborg. Get over it, this show was/is amazing for a TV show based on a comic franchise. Look back at some of their flops, Flash TV series and some TV movies.

@rthompson39 I wasn't complaining about the costumes heh, was mearly pointing out how ppl get all bent out of shape over little things. This was a successful tv show and ppl keep getting mad over small costume changed. It is a WB tv show, think of the budget they had for costumes. Its not a 200 million dollar movie. Thats what I was pointing out. They did a great job with the resources and money they had.

OK, let me explain this to you slowly.

a guy in a sports jacket covered in commercials who's a super hero for the money, works

a guy in a big blue suit that looks like a power rangers reject, really doesn't work

there is a limit to what you can make believable on live action TV

@KainGerc well to your point, Hawkman who's costume is not as complicated as BB worked well in Icarus especially with the wings in CGI. If you read the interview Geoff Johns said that when Jaime first gets in contact with the Scarab he looks more "Bulkier" like in the picture. But later on in the episode the scarab starts to become connected to Jaime and it will probably look more CGI like in the test footage of the blue beetle from comic con, and sleekier.

@BTLgmoney i think people hate it cuz of the no action. how they drag the plot along for the entire season and when u think the season final or premiere will be huge, it is a big let down.

@thebuckrogers22 well you have the sort out the plot for the whole season, and like in season 5,6,7,9 you had multiple story lines that all culminated near the end. As far as finalie's go i loved season 5,6,7,8,9 finale and season 4 was good too. and of course hence the name "Smallville" every season he gains new abilities and experiences that will one day (in 4 episodes) become superman
