  • Wow, I wish my ears had the opportunity to hear his beautiful music earlier. :(

  • what a man

  • "Evereybody is irreplacable because each of us are one entity" What a truly great quote.

Can someone tell me if he died shortly after this? When about was this? I heard he died in 2007, it´s sad that he leaves a daughter at such a young age for her.

Also, the emotion in his face when he´s talking here, and when he´s singing is beautiful.

  • @TheMajin7 well the thing is that the life of this person itself made it out. its so awesome that you can picture situations, feelings and all, and you ll be certain that pavarotti knew that.

  • I'm a N.E.R.D for Pavarotti.... who's with me?? Wonderful, beautiful singer x x x x

  • @Charismatic881 : I feel the same way. One is never to old nor to young to listen to, and appreciate the volume of his immense performance's time and time again. It is amazing to listen to and sometimes I find myself with an open mouth after hearing and watching his work.

  • Well, once there was a loud concert on earth... so loud that even god overheard some notes. Well, he said i ll listen to what these people are doing. then the god heard pavarotti. and then he said: ''sry guys but heaven needs him''. GOD BLESS PAVAROTTI THE BEST SINGER IN THE WORLD!

  • Clever man too

  • R.I.P

    From Kuwait

  • Pavarotti and Takayuki Miyauchi almost sharing the same voice, I think. Only another one not opera.

  • Bravo Pavarotti! Le plus grand tenor du monde! Toujours!!!

  • R.I.P :-)

  • Luciano Pavarotti is a true legend

  • why dislike it ????? luciano pavarotti was a legdend !!

  • @oBaboonMano correction is a legdend :)

  • He looks so happy =)

  • Luciano Pavarotti liked Irish horses so he bought an 18 hh (hands high) Irish hunter and a show jumper.

  • @sainglain

18 hands??? i suppose had to be... to carry him:)

    (no disrespect to maestro)

  • there will never be a man with as powerfull a voice as his

  • his amazing

  • he looks pimp

  • @ConvoyGTR He is a pimp

  • Just Great Pavarotti no other words,

  • He reminds me of The Godfather in this interview.

  • "Everybody is irreplaceable because each of us are one entity." -Luciano Pavarotti

  • The day Pavarotti passed away was one of the saddest days of my life. But his death did not come as a shock. I knew he was going to pass away when he was in a critical condition the day before. I was prepared for what might happen.

  • @31operafan - i cry this day like i lost someone of my close family

  • italians are so proud, the boy could sing, but as a person hes an idiot

  • I loved him

  • Fottiti pubbicità di merda

  • Where can I buy a scarf like the one Pavarotti is wearing? I love the ones he wears when he is in casual dress............A great singer indeed and a big loss, but he left behind his music for us to enjoy...Rest in peace Mr. Pavarotti......

  • think his eybrow`s are false

but he was one hell of a singer

  • Didn't know Brian Blessed was Italian.

  • EHHHH, i didnt know he can speak english :D

  • I love how he's dressed like a pimp =P

  • he was and amazing singer and he will be very missed

  • Isn't he like the Michael Jordan of Opera?

  • @Keichan2501 Indeed.

  • @Keichan2501 lol he is top 3 best singers of ALL TIME

  • @Keichan2501 Well, we can say it so... :-))

  • @Keichan2501 nah, he's way beyond it

  • Best interview EVAR

  • CHRIST ALMIGHTY, He's dressed like Ali G!

  • Poor Pavarotti ,,, he didnt know he would retire from this whole life a year after his plan to retire from singing,,,, you never expect what's coming!!!

  • The day he left us, Earth stopped for a second knowing what a great loss to humanity it was.

  • @iTooob very true

  • @iTooob - this day we lost a bit of beauty in the world, and we all knew that, a shiny day is not the same, since no one else could sing to the sun

  • @iTooob i didn't

  • @ThomasWinkworth that would be because you have no soul...

  • @Sunno94 What has been done, will be done again. Before you know it, he'll be forgotten...

  • @ThomasWinkworth keep dreaming.

  • @Sunno94 Perhaps your that sad to dream about such things but i'm not... sorry

  • @ThomasWinkworth and i'm sorry that you can't spell the word you're. lol

  • @Sunno94 right...

  • @ThomasWinkworth .....whats the point dude SURE they'll be some other legend like him ( i hope damnit!!!!) but whats the point to say hes gonna be forgotten.. ? Fine by me if you dont wanna remmember someone like him, but dont say everyone will because at school we learn things about ...u know...important people!!! ....consider that body.

  • @SubLiMeZoMbiE Because all of it is meaningless.

  • he was so cute, an amazing person, amazing singer... May he RIP

  • He's soooo cute!

  • KAISER181818 - BRAVO!!

  • RIP maestro luciano...your music will never die in our lives thats 4 sure...forza pavarotti

  • Great.. Maestro !! Rest In Peace !! Still lives in our hearts ; )

  • gringos are arrogant and, little do they know about the world and are much disliked in the planet. Even American gringos speak horrible English and improve it when they learn a foreign language.

  • pavarotti - genius.

also...if the only language u can speak is english, you're denying yourself a huge understanding of human nature. you only have one lifetime....live and learn as much as possible. so yeah. that's my advice, whether u want it or not ;p

  • big luciano rules..........

  • A REAL MASTEARO.U WILL ALWAYS LIVE IN OUR HEART.

  • echt die kut reclame overal op youtube, zo verkoop je toch niets want iedereen is gewoon pissig dat het youtube verneukt...

  • @MrMongolWolf dude, you are such a little bitch about this. i really like pavarotti, but you seriously need to get off his nuts. you're just as bad as the michael jackson fans.

  • NEM TEM TRADUÇÃO NESSSA PORRA ;@

  • R.I.P

He was the best Tenor the world ever had

  • luciano er piu.

  • his a english is a no so perfect, but he is extremely good at expressing himself regardless.

  • @goYankees19 you bitch have no right to judge on his english.because you just like little fucking cockroach ! remember that cunt

  • @MrMongolWolf

dude, chill out. it was a joke.

  • @MrMongolWolf that's a lot of big talk from a twelve year old.

  • @goYankees19 doesnt seem like you can speak/write so perfectly either

  • @ginna8 tough shit. it's a comment board, not an exercise in perfect grammar. and if you were paying attention, you would see that i was poking a little bit of fun at pavarotti.

  • @goYankees19 Im quite happy for people to share their opinions, and encourage that, after all, like you say, that's what this place is for. Having seen someone apparently joking about Pavarotti's english, i thought i would give my comment. I obviously didnt get your humour. Anyway, i think the great man deserves not to have fun poked at him, even if it is 'only' about some small english error.

  • @ginna8

Einstein couldn't speak proper english either yet he was far from being dumb.

  • @MsGnorts Yeah, what has english got to do with people being clever or talented? People who are actually native anglish speakers should consider themselves lucky that most of the world can at least speak some of the english!

  • @ginna8 if people like you who couldn't handle a joke about somebody else ruled the world, it would be a pretty dismal place. you're starting to sound like MrMongolWolf's better half.

  • @goYankees19 I can certainly handle a joke, i just didnt see someone laughing at pavarotti's english as a joke. Now i know you werent serious, im not that bothered, but there are just many people who would say that kind of thing, and not mean it as a joke. Imagine if someone like them ruled the earth. Anyway, im through with this pointless discussion.

  • @ginna8 it didn't seem so pointless to you when you started it. it would have been smarter of you to not say anything about it.

  • @goYankees19 No it didnt, because i feel strongly about people who assume that everyone should speak english perfectly, even when it is their second or third or whatever language, and i will speak up against this kind of opinion. Yes, you were 'joking' about this, but that wasnt apparent from reading your message. Just look at the two most highly rated comments, and you will see that my stance on this is supported by many other people.

  • @ginna8 excuse me, but it should have been apparent enough to see that i was joking, even for somebody like you with a stick up his/her ass. what's even more apparent is how much i don't give a flying fuck about how many thumbs up your comments or anybody else's get. go ahead and keep speaking up, but here's a news flash: this is youtube where nobody really cares enough about your feelings about the english language and my jokes. cry me a damn river.

  • @goYankees19 It perhaps should have been apparent, but it wasnt to me, but that is maybe because i dont spend my time reading Youtube comments and deciding if they are serious or not. Making personal comments about other people simply shows weaknees in one's argument, and in any case i don't have a stick up my arse. I didnt read MrMongolWolf's comments before i posted, and i dont sgree with the way he talks on here. Also, my opinion is not hallowed, i just like to share it when appropriate.

  • @ginna8 like i said, you started this "pointless discussion." feel free to end it like you said you would. and you do have a stick up there, you're just too full of yourself to admit it. you've shared your opinion, it turned out to be wrong, end of story. personal comments against other people may show weakness in an argument, but your argument was nothing but a lame opinion that turned out to be groundless. your argument personified weakness.

  • @ginna8 and another thing: you DID start this "pointless discussion." it was you who replied to my comment after MrMongolWolf, it was you who wanted to voice your hallowed opinion to counter mine, and it is still you who keeps wanting to talk all kinds of mindless, or should i say, pointless, bull at me even after you said you were through.

  • R.I.P

  • I recently started to listen to Luciano, and I tell you; I have missed the greatness of this man? What a lost! Luciano is without a doubt a humble man, who you can tell he really was gifted. Nothing compares to Opera and Classical music. Viva Luciano, excellent singer, bello!

  • Humble, lovely, unbelievably talented and dare I say not lacking in wisdom. He is right - everyone is irreplaceable, but the night sky lost a very bright star the day Luciano Pavarotti died. Rest in Peace.

  • RIP, "Every One is Irreplaceable".

  • RIP

  • FANTASTIC!

  • Parkinson's breathing is so annoying.

  • SWEET.

  • he is a wonderful loving father!:'( I LOOVVEE YOU!!! REST IN PEACE!! HE HAS A WONDERFUL POWERFUL VOICE!!

  • It makes me so sad that he died only one year after this, his daughter and granddaughter were so young then, god bless Luciano x

  • WE MISS U LUCIANO NOBODY SING LIKE U THESE YEARS....XXXXXR.I.P.

  • When Pavarotti sang, I always cried.

italiano rock italiano vedete siate nazionalisti

  • i think that with elvis, marlon brando and pavartotti there are no space in heaven left for great people

  • His voice actually gives me goosebumbs. Cliched yes, but so true.

  • There are 23 thumbs down on this video. I just don't understand why anyone would do that.

  • @REBECCAtheSOPRANO there must be 23 people out there who can't see greatness if it hit them in the face... I don't understand either

  • that man is always FRESH :D

  • Proud to be an ITALIAN!!!!!! thumbs up if you are too.

  • i agree, a great loss, a great man,

  • It is such a shame that he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in the first year of his retirement. He never got the chance to enjoy his grandchildren and indeed his new daughter, nor they him. It is such a sad thing, god bless him.

  • I always thought Pavarotti was a bit aloof, this interview shows I was wrong. He suggests here that there are several younger singers who may (at some point) take his place, well I for one am still waiting.

  • Великий певец, великий человек!..

  • He was one ofe the realy greats. And,as they always are always,, Italian! :)

  • i would love if he been able to have a concert in philippines, before he died, because he has a lot of fans here, same as me...we admire him so much and we miss his voice...may you be in the hand of our dear lord

  • I saw the three tenors perform in China almost 10 years ago and I was only about 6-7 years old.

    Rest in peace, Luciano

  • My favorite part is Pavarotti's response to Parkinson's question at 4:20 — "Everyone is irreplaceable." And so are you. We'll miss you.

  • Sadly missed..

  • god he is huge so built wow and such a amazing voice very amazing

  • Luciano sei stato il migliore, che voce ..che potenza .. che uomo meraviglioso sei stato .. riposa in pace ,, sentirti cantare mi fa venire il brivido sulla pelle ... grazie.

  • Big Luciano is the Best lyrics singer forever

  • DsHsWilliam .. Just 1 word "DIE"! ... If you dare to talk about pavarotti like that

  • i try to talk english because mostly of the people try to do so, is great for a job or talk with foreign people thats the reason why i try to speak english but i only say that english and american people think that is so easy for all the people to speak a perfect english thats all im not saying that the english is a fucking shit thats not the point

  • i really hate english or american people who think that all the fucking ppl in the world must know how to speak english properly, maybe this people should try to speak a foreign language...

  • Americans do not speak English, they think they can but they can't.

  • You are right to the immense.

  • Thank-you.

There is a great line in the TV Series Band of Brothers, one of the episodes set in Holland, where 3 Americans are talking to a Dutch father and very young son.

The American says, "They are speak English, they all love us"

What he clearly misses is its ENGLISH not American, they love us not them : ) .

  • @tomsmith100 i think you need a little recap of WWII

  • @KAISER181818 Maybe you should try to speak your own language properly before you start to learn another. Makes sense.

  • @07tsime1234 should i respond your stupid words? i think is not necessary to waste my time with a retard guy

  • @KAISER181818 YES!

  • @KAISER181818 *These people

  • @KAISER181818

ive never met any english (or british) person who feels like that. America is a different story, but ofcourse America is stupid in many more ways than just language, but please dont mix us in the same pot as the americans!

  • @KAISER181818 I agree

  • @KAISER181818 Agree with U :)

  • @KAISER181818 Very well said my friend. I think they're just jealous because the only language they understand is English, talk to them in other language and they will think your stupid or crazy. Well, they should think again. They might not know it but they are already being cursed.

  • @KAISER181818 As an American, I couldn't agree more.

  • @KAISER181818 Too be fair it is amongst the most commonly spoken languages in the world, with ancestral ties to many other languages.... making it a bit easier to learn for a lot of people.

  • shame he died when he was 71 i believe;(

  • So many angry people around here!

    OolalaH!!!

    LOL!

  • WOW never heard him talk in English, amazing talent he just makes you want to smile

  • Just one question : can you speak fucking italian the way he's speaking english ? :)

  • @DsHsWilliam Why don't u learn italian?

  • allah topragını bol etsin rakı sofrasında az dinlemedik rahmetliyi esine cocuklarına allah sabır wersin

  • those fucking doctors should be shame.

just fucking cencer in 21th century

  • he and montserrat caballe are the olnly opera singers that you can say they enjoy singing as a way of living and as a way of aproach happiness! always with a joke and a smile to give! both will always live in owr harts! god bless them!
