boondocks128, This my give away my age, but they didn't start the modern punk rock revival. They were one of the first. Most of the songs from this albulm were recorded in the late 70's early 80's. One of the first punk rockers in LA to make it.
@wpgray3 Bad religion started off in the valley, but then because the punk scene was really happening down in L.A. BR established a fan base down there, thus becoming an L.A. punk band. And yes, I agree they started the modern punk revival :3 along with others like Green Day, The Offspring, and others but BR takes the cake.
@chany4101 dude i hear what your sayin...but BR is on a different plain than green day and offspring. can you honestly say green day and offspring didn't change their music for record companies/ popularity? BR has changed not for anyone else but themselves...note the new folky stuff like "I won't say anything"
Have to disagree there. They had some down years no doubt, but there recent 3 are just as outstanding as the classics. They have been progressive without selling out. Simply Greg and Brett need to be together for BR magic.
I'm a wannabe and delusional but I've been to a Bad Religion show.

Secular music=fail.

This is their best stuff by a long shot. Recipe for Hate was their "Black Album". Most stuff after that is generic and forgettable.
