  • Mmm I have found that Flemish's have such a large bone structure meat will be wasted. NZW's are really good, I agree.

  • I agree, which is why I usually cross them with the new Zealands. I find that they usually turn out pretty good.

  • It really looks like a Flemish Giant. I believe the best meat rabbit is a Flemish Giant mixed with a New Zealand, just always make sure that the Giant is the female. You get most of the size from the Giant and the good meat quality/ratio of the New Zealand. Giants by themselves often make good meat breeds and I have seen 25 pounders go for upwards of 6 dollars a pounds.

  • New Zealand whites are good meat rabbits. Their meat-to-bone ratio is good and their fur is decent to save and use.

  • I so disaggre mini lops, thrintes, american sables, and mini rex are the best

  • They are growing it to eat it. I don't think they care.

  • those are pet breeds not meat rabbits

  • you wanna bet!!!!!!!! ... theyr not pets !!! having a rabbit as a pet is like having a goat as a pet in my opinion .sad thing is that people do have goats as pets so ...

  • oh wtf u hojo i got pet goats and rabbits

  • @gokory Pretty sure there is meat on a pet rabbit.

  • The best for what purpose?
