I have a quadracer, I need advice on the suspension, Its an 87, I like doing jumps, good big jumps, I'm not a serious MX'er but I overall like jumping. Anyway right now its all stock. I've seen quads with yfz450 front shocks with stock A-arms....Does anyone have any experience with this? Please get back!

Nice quad man. Im more than half way through restoring my 87 lt250r.stage 1 port and polish, Paul turner exhaust, lightened and balnced flywheel, 39mm carb, works front shocks, powder coated and chrom plated everything, lol. There is more that i can't even think of off the top of my head.

just curious, How much work needs to be dome to bolt the z400 swinger on the lt250r. What shock to use? any years it doesn't work on?

i have a z400 shock on my '92 lt250r so im sure that the swing arm isnt much different, probably just the linkage

i just got a 90 and a 91, the 91 got clocked at 87 mph, it is worked to the balls, mine has +4 arms and axle

i just got a restored 86 lt250r for $1200 off a friend of mine, works suspension up front, fox podium in the back, new plastics, stator, Douglas beadlock rims on the back(stock up front still) engine is all stock for now though, planning on exhaust and reeds soon, maybe a 330 kit.

I've been looking for one, but all i can find em for are the hondas. i think i saw a 310 kit online somewhere, cant remember where. but I'm sure if you look long enough you will find one somewhere. as for right now I'm planning on a FMF full exhaust and maybe getting it ported, after that who knows.
