Mac fail! What major company doesn't make software for Macs? Polar is resting on its laurels and falling way behind MiCoach and Nike and Garmin and others now coming up on them.
@combatsambonyc Most of our products are Mac compatible. The Protrainer 5 software is not, due to the Apple's restriction with IRDA devices. The only Protrainer 5 compatible Polar products we currently market(2 in total) use IRDA to download.
All future Polar products(and 99% of current line) will use other data transfer methods and be fully Mac compatible, like for instance our FT line, RS300x, CS500cad and new RCX5.
@TheJslickster The Protrainer 5 software comes free with compatible models. Details can be found at polarusa.com(Products>Training Software) If you are upgrading from an old software, Protrainer 5 is available for download at a cost of $79.00.
I use RSD800's with my international athletes. This clip is perfect when we are educating them on what the benefits of the monitor and software are. Thanks for sharing! Keep these types of clips coming.

Wow...cool graphics. I work with youth tri-athletes too. Really great video. I definitely do "care about data a little too much."
