@goxster learn from history...yes the churches are a business,yes they are trouble-makers .....but..they are a part of life that is not going to go away.And anything horrible that can be said about their priests is usually true.But...in the countries that were once part of the Soviet Union they understand the value of good-Art....like a good-song..& spectacular architecture.I'm not talkin-bout Roman Catholics or dull protestant churches but the Orthodox are bling-meisters par-excellance

I like that Orthodox church. Not for the religious part but the architecture is interesting. Gives me fantasies of exploring the building on my own, all the nooks and crannies. The bling is marvelous.
You can imagine the psychological effect upon the devout.
yup...gotta admit-it,the Orthodox Christians are into BLING...in a BIG-way.....& onion domes are muy extra-spectacular...

I would certainly love to visit.
