Short version: The second mate changed the voyage plan (with the consent of the captain) but did not enter the new waypoints into the GPS. The chief mate later assumed the watch, but delayed plotting a position because he was expecting the waypoint alarm to sound, but it didn't since the wrong waypoints were still entered. He missed the turn and ... crunch.
@zqhsfz well... its not like i am accusing them of something really but... if those were really accidents then i think the Chinese have serious issues in the quality of their manpower.
i think the chinese did the same thing not only once... if they do it again i think it could not be called a coincidence already. i think they've already hit two coral reefs. one infamous coral reef in some backwater third world country out there and now this one...
