We hold these truths to be self evident ,it starts with WE and ends with US . Demonstrations are a start ,Thank GOD there are still Americans that will get off the couch and give a voice to those who cant. God bless em . Just maybe these banker s and politicians will actually Listen. But I want the Occupiers to understand one thing, with out the US Military and all there Guns and Bombs they wouldnt be able to have a VOICE.
A few days ago Paul Krugman wrote a piece for New York Times called Panic of the Plutocrats. It's definitely worth a read & it's online. Thanks for the upload, Pete.
@rasmussen418 Great read, Steen ! Another positive side of it is that more of mainstream media like NYT are intrested in what is going on from the perspective of normal people.
@VanPiorsing There's one very nasty thing to consider: powerful people are not likely ever to give way: they will do everything! to stay in power & I fear we are going to see - sooner or later - something really, really bad. Am I being too pessimistic here? Let's hope so. Today, with the demonstrations all over the place, was a marvel.
But then again, that's exactly why it is so potentially dangerous: they - the protesters & their sympathizers - are a very serious threat. They must be stopped.
