  • Oops, lol did he say environmentally friendly mall.... Huge uv's, chillers, ozone and heaters aren't that green :-p

  • Lol did he say enviro

  • I agree the display tanks look very artificial indeed. I've seen home aquarium enthusiasts (with much MUCH smaller budgets) with live coral/anemone reef ecosystems with fantastic varieties of fish. They put these tanks to shame.

  • Question:

Is it stressful for the fish to be in outdoor aquariums?

The general public can tap oon the glass and disturb the fish.

Are there any safety control measures to prevent that from happening?

    thicker glass? one-way mirror?

  • @PaNdeM0niuM not any less stressful than being on display indoors. as with most large/public display aquariums, the fish tend to acclimate to the audience as well as their new home. however, in all honesty, we had the garibaldi tank covered for two weeks prior to exposing the fish to the public.

  • first I thought tis is Jake from Avatar.

  • @picball39 it is. lol.

  • Very clean install- took time and thought, very well done

  • i think the tanks in any rainforest cafe are much nicer and larger fish. and i would of liked to see and outdoor living reef. nice systems tho. filtration wize.

  • Those plastic things you had in your hand are K1 media. I dont think water suppose to trickle over them like bio balls. they are suppose to be fully submerse in water and floating around in a chaotic fashion by using air pumps

  • @nakedrunner7 you are correct. "trickle" was the wrong word to use but i assure you that it was engineered correctly. Notice the 4:50 mark, you can see the drain is equal in height to the return and you'll notice the 3/4" vinyl tubing on top which is fed by the air compressor nearby- providing the much needed oxygen inside the vessel. good looking out! sounds like you know your stuff...

  • hey how r u? I have 10 African Cichlid babies they are about 1 inch and i want to know how many times should i feed them and what is the best type of African cichlid food?

  • @zainzulfiqar the best for any aquarium is a blend of frozen foods that are packed with vitamins and nutrients. if you want to take an "easier" approach, african cichlids will thrive off of a good formula flake or pellet food. Spectrum, Ocean Nutrition, and Hikari are all reputable brands that you might consider.

  • Ever do freshwater?!

  • Man the fake corals are kind of ugly....

  • are those plastic plants?

  • @monskie120991 They are! They were made in Germany!

  • umm how the hell do you do things to it? its so deep that you wouldnt be able to fix any problems at the bottom......

  • @BullockDesignConcept extension tools for the smaller tanks. wet suit and a breathing tube for the larger.

  • I was wondering how do you feed the fish

  • @xyang9374 from the top. big ladder required.

  • He's got Asian look in him he must be rich!!!

  • califonia boys we're unforgettable ohh ohoh ohh

  • keeping that algea in controll sounds fun

  • @TheChando1 LOL- ummm you could say that. its definitely a full time job!

  • do all the baldies have their green cards?

  • @r2Kd0ugernaut too funny. i had to approve this comment. be nice now...

  • uhm. het is toch niet goed als er zon direct in je aquarium schijnt ?

  • Amazing! Must cost a fortune to run

  • keep an eye out for me! ill be the smug sob on the segway. surprised they let you get so close, with all the terrorism and all.

    what tank has the mermaids?

  • damn ugly tanks

  • I enjoyed watching this and the other videos from the infinityAquariums!!!!

  • @arpinehb Thank you! We appreciate it!

  • Nice and all, but I'm not impressed sorry to say. The filtration room and all the equipment is far more impressive than the display tanks.

  • Those fish are gonna start a whirlpool going around and around like that lol

Kinda lame how nothing other then the fish are live.

  • where is the refugium section?

  • you never said anything about the algea

  • its addressed at the very end of the video...

  • i like how you explain things for noobs to expert. very professional...

  • how does having outdoor aquariums, eco friendly??? the setup for the outdoor aquarium is most likely not eco friendly. Dropping aquarium water from an ambient temp of 100 degree, to a low 65 degee is not an efficient task.

  • What brand of chillers and heatpumps are you using here?

Also curious as to the brand of pressure canister filters in this filter.

    PS thats a sexy skimmer.

  • all chillers, heat pumps and pressurized canister filters are AQUA LOGIC

  • ps- skimmer is even sexier in person...ha!

  • Damn, you're cute! ;-)

  • I so agree .. lol nic come take care of my tanks ... anyday lol to bad he is not in canada 6'3 my dream as I am 6'2 lol

  • Great tanks and thanks for showing us the pump room. That was the best part for me. My issue is with the tanks being too accesable to the public. People are lets face it stupid, parents don't watch their kids or what ever but that was not your call.

  • Lots of fingerprints and a few minor scratches to buff out now and then. I'm with you on that!

  • Thanks, one questions for you. How are you supplying water for water changes? Thanks a lot and really enjoyed the customs on your web page too. Can not wait for more install pics and customs.

  • Great question- Being in L.A., we have a lot of excellent resources at our disposal, one being the ocean. We use a company that pulls water from the Pacific, filters and conditions it, and then delivers it by the thousands of gallons to our job sites. We can do a 1500 gallon water change in about an hour...not bad.

    Thanks for your comments!

  • how much would that 1600 gallon tank go for with the filtration????

  • the last tank is a lil overcrowded dont ya think ?

  • the last tank has the lowest bio-load! but you're entitled to your opinion:)

  • that's Amazing how they can keep the same tamp year round

  • Huge chiller and heaters :)

  • This was great! Thanks for sharing and keep them coming.

  • Another Amazing Video!!!
