Help help help I'll be landing for my 1st time in SLC Oct 14th and have 3 and 1/2 hours for my connection to Kansas City-what can you do in SLC for that duration?

Is there enough time to go by Utah Transit to Downtown to explore there? Or does SLC have a lot to do at the airport there? thank you. Joe

Oh, boy. I remember my first approach into Salt Lake City. The last few seconds looked like we were going to ditch in the lake itself, and them WHAM! There's the runway.

you are a naive idiot. A lot of airplanes have smooth landings at SLC. JPZ16974 the airport has nothing to do with the landing. There are exceptions, however SLC is not one of them. It all depends on the weather wind and how the airplane is flow up to the landing. You can have a bumpy landing just as easily at lax. So dont talk about stuff you know nothing about because it makes you look stupid.
