@GingerGilligan < I'm sorry I didn't mean it in a mean way I just wondered. To tel u the truth I like it :-) Can u explain to me how skipper got the clown outfit, and how is it that Skipper nevr lost weight since they only had fruits to eat :-)
this is a good example of how Youtube is a good thing. It gives people a chance to find out about the music, shows and so on that were out there in passed decades that they may not ever have been able to see otherwise and lets them comment on it
I saw the HBO document on the late Walter Scott. I think is was just a so sad what happen to him. How ironic he sanged this song yrs before he's murdered at the hands of his wife's lover.
I love this song...I really need to find a copy on an oldies CD or something.
Folks out there, please tell me something...where the HELL did Skipper find a clown suit? Weren't the only folks who brought extra clothes for the "3-hour tour" the Howells and, possibly, Ginger? Just asking.
I agree I can't understand how they had all these hcange of clothes since it was a three hour cruise and since the professor can fix a radio that ran on batteries how come he could fix a hole in a boat? And why did Skipper lose weight and what did the ladies do when it was that time of the month?
Hey, hidoll22, you opened up another can of worms with the "that time of the month" issue...BTW, I saw a profile of Walter Scott on "Mysteries and Scandals" on the E! Channel several years ago.
Poor Walter Scott he was murdered because his cheating wife wanted to be with her very ugly lover. The lover she wanted to be with murdered his wife, his son is the one who told the polie to check into his mother's murder. He knew his dad murdered her
The man who murdered Walter Scott also murdered his wife because she would give him a divorce so he could marry Walter Scott's wife. He murdered her by tampering with the brakes on her car. Then he kills Walter Scott, poor Walter's body was found in a covered flowerbed or wall in the family back yard. His son gave him up to the police.
I haven't heard this song since I saw it on Dick Clark's "Where the action is" way back in the mid 60's. I remember the group was wearing some wild tiger striped sport coats and I think the lead singer was a school teacher. Anyway, thanks for posting it. A true one hit wonder!
What does this song have to do with Gillian Island

where's the real footage!

None of my videos have any "real" footage. These are clips of Gilligan's Island set to music that was popular at the time.
