I think Turbo, along with the two Ripper Owens albums, is one of the most underrated Judas Priest releases. I actually think Killing Machine and British Steel are overrated (still good though) and I don't like Sin After Sin or Point of Entry. Turbo is unique and interesting in its use of electronic elements, more romantic lyrics, and "commercial" touches.

I feel like Turbo is a criminally underrated album. It really doesnt get enough recognition, sure its commercial metal - but its commercial metal DONE RIGHT! They already had established themselves as a multi-type of metal group by putting Point Of Entry out right after British Steel - and THEN following PoE with Vengeance! I dont think we would have Painkiller without Turbo, because Turbo is what made them create Ram It Down, and a lot of the style on Ram it Down leads up to Painkiller IMO.
