i have an 06' Galant ES and love it. Personally i love the design. I like that its different and sporty. However, then new Galant's dont do much for me. I liked the older tail light design better (05'-08').

I don't like the new galants. The 03 and back were built much better and the interior had high quality materials and they were quiet. The new ones have bad quality and are noisy. Hopefully when they design the new galant, it'll be a great car again and be competitive

This review is legit. The Galant is a good car but still not there yet. However, I am thinking about purchasing one. Galants are thousands of dollars less than Camry and Accord. I dont see why I need to spend extra on a car that all i need it to do is get from point a to b

What a lackluster car. Ugly outside. Bland and cheap inside. Damn, even Hyundai and Kia have done better with styling their family sedans, not to mention the joint engines they use put out more power. 175hp with the 2.4L and 265hp with the 3.8L.

Mitsubishi gives you good bang for your buck. We had a temporary 03 Galant ES after we wrecked out Accord. But the ES is the base model, and it had power everything, and a nice radio.

I am currently renting one of these while my Bonneville is being painted and I must say this is a decent car. While it is not on a Fusion, Camry, or Malibu level it is still a good car that will get you from point A to B. Also, not having so many of them around has the edge because you don't blend in to the crowd. The rental is a ES model with I-4 engine which I hate ( I hate any I-4 engine regardless of brand). Definitely get a V-6 model.

its actually 99-00 the ones that look great ! before 98 they looked like shit and after 2001 they fucked up the shape completely !

I agree. I liked the chrome grill better on the '98. Then they changed the grill and it looked ugly. Then they completely changed the shape and it was a WTF kind of moment. Mitsu makes lots of bad styling choices, just like Subaru.

I've had a 2000 Galant V6 since I bought it brand new almost 10 years ago. I absolutely love the car! It hasn't given me a day of trouble. Reliable in the extreme in all kinds of weather. My next car will definitely be a Galant Ralliart!

I always likes Galants, but I think that Mitsubishi needs the Galant to compete directly with the Subaru Legacy, and maybe with the Volkswagen Passat.

No, I love my '09 Galant V6 Sport Edition. I traded a 2006 ford fusion in for it. My Galant is faster and has more features to offer than my fusion had. Anyways to answer your question I wouldn't stop. Buy the Galant its a great car!

I'm sorry to hear that...however there's nothing wrong with a Camry. I'm a service technician so I have driven Camrys and enjoy there smoothe ride also. The Galant doesn't ride bad either though. I've had it over interstate speeds and it rides fairly smoothe at all speeds. The Camry may ride smoother than the Galant however.
