  • Ok, The circle change DOES naturally move like a screwball (opposite of slider).

But, whatever Daisuke is throwing here is more effective than most chang-ups I've seen.

It's faster than a standard change and sinks harder.

Really a golden pitch no matter what.

  • did this dude play in the majors

cuz this dude doesnt look that impressive

hope the yankees go after yu darvish.

  • @mr3000ts He is with the Red Sox, injured I think. I hope Yu Darvish goes to the Giants. Hahaha

  • thats just a slow shuuto

  • 0:05 San Diego!

  • Of course its not a normal changup, its a shuuto.

  • WHY CANT HE DO THAT FOR THE RED SOXX

  • Comment removed

  • good change

  • too bad mlb hitters destroy his shit everytime he pitches

  • normal circle changeups dont break this hard...

  • damn.... hell of a pitch.

  • I don't see the screw effect in this camera *newbie

  • japanese baseball isnt as high leveled as mlb

  • @Dayize14 wts ure point

  • This isn't even a great pitch haha

  • actually i watched him pitch, its not a screwball change, ive never even heard of that. a ton of pitchers throw a change that just has some "sink" to it, bc you pronate your arm. so you can have the circle grip, 3 finger grip, or even a palmball grip and just pronate to get that sinking action on your change. i believe i saw him with a palmball grip like i use for my straight change, but i use a 3 fingered change for sinking, so 2 change ups for me. that pretty much explains that...

  • Whats make a screw ball diferent to a circle change is the fucking movement and the speed, so, they are diferent pitches.

  • @chokolisto No its all opinion most changeups move down and into a righty, same as a screwball. Screwballs are released differently though, you twist your arms as opposed to a change-up you just use pressure and a grip to get that movement. Calm your tits

  • thats not a screwball. the changeup just has a lot of run to it

  • ok, for those that say the gyroball doesnt exist, ever looked it up? no? alright, ive thrown gyroballs, they have moved in some similar manner to the way they are demonstrated in videos. this is a good pronated change-up thats why it has the down and away movement.

  • @trp27 i hope you know that a gyroball isnt supposed to move at all..

  • this is no circle change, he holds the pitch like a shuuto (i.e. a vulcan changeup) with the ball deep in his palm

  • @justusdude @MrMakinItbig U GUYS ARE BOTH MORONS

  • redsocks suck

  • circle change?

  • i think thats just a splitter or maybe a forker

  • Spliiter or Forkball

  • thats a forkball

  • i luv him

  • that's a fucking sick changeup

  • Daisuke is a beast haha

  • Who's this moron saying a circle change doesn't exist when at least half major league pitchers throw that pitch what an idiot

  • @pitbullbaseball lecavalierfan004 says that it isnt a pitch but just a different grip for a change up... which i think is completely wrong because a cutter is just a different grip from a fastball... they are all grips

  • @Manwhichman8u no hes right, its a grip that was originally created to teach kids to roll their hand over on a regular change up.

  • スクリューじゃなくてチェンジアップみたいだね・・・。

  • screwball change?

    come on...just a circle change...

many great pitcher throw this ball in

    mlb

  • yeah, it's a circle change

  • @a5a5alex It's still filthy.

  • @a5a5alex they called it a screwball change because its moving like one not cuz it actually is.

  • @a5a5alex Why is it everytime someone throws a screball, someone smarter than everyone else has to call it a circle change? There's a difference. You call a splitter a sinker everytime you see it too?

  • @a5a5alex its actually a gyro

  • @a5a5alex Dallas Braden's is the best

  • who cares its nastyyyyyyy

  • sinker

  • just a little info.....a circle change can either go "straight down" or down and in on a right handed batter if the pitcher is right handed and vice versa for a lefty.

  • great changeup. nobody thinks this is the Gyroball. Wish this guy would throw this pitch more often.

  • a circle change doesnt go staight down

  • this is what people think is the gyroball

  • thats a circle change-up

  • no a circle change goes straight down and the "gyroball" goes across

  • no a straight change goes straight down and the gyroball doesn't exist. this is a circle change like pedros

  • no actually the gyroball does exist and a circle change can go down, down in, or down out

mine goes down out because i flick my index finger when i throw it giving it a curveball spin

  • a circle change is not a pitch. it's a different grip for a changeup.
