  • Their singing is great, but I don't think that anyone could portray Sweeney Todd's character as well as Johnny Depp could

  • ha ha its all in korean but i still know what they are saying :)

  • This was so good! She sing's wonderfully, and their acting is great! They made it so cute and funny. <3

  • It was ok. Hated how took him sooooo long just to understand that SHE WANTS HIM TO TRY IT BY BITING A LITTLE PIECE OFF!

  • this play is very easy to understand for Koreans because we already had black comedy films and plays with almost same plot with this play. of course that Korean black comedy setting is 'restaurant selling foods made with....'.. wonderful satire for this world too.

  • he whole podium looks just awesome!! I really love this! But i really wonder how Lucy and Anthony and all the others look :D

  • I find it amusing that people don't know musical shows get translated when performed abroad. What did you expect, a house full of english speaking patrons in Korea, Brazil, France or Russia? Kinda elitist.

  • Gotta love this cast :)

  • I deffinatley like this song better in english lol it sounds all rushed and smushed in korean.

  • This is pretty awesome, but some parts seem a little too forced. I do like Mr. Todd's facial expressions, though. No matter what version, Mr. T always makes me laugh at some point, even if he's not trying. :3

  • the lyrics are funny

  • XD wow. fat lovett. songs pretty well though o----o amazing

  • Well, Mrs. Lovett wasn't supposed to be all that thin in the first place. Ever read/heard the script for "By The Sea"? Mrs. Lovett even says, "I've always had this dream ever since I was a little slip of a thing," before she actually sings. Which implied that she not only used to be young, but skinny, too.

  • it dosent have to mean that literally. Well idk, if you say so. Because im not really familar with the script so i dont know.

  • @koikazu95 Look around on YouTube... it seems that many of the actresses portraying Lovett were/are less than petite. I don't see why it should matter.

  • @MaximumMadnessStixon i didnt mean it that way XD im not insulting her, it was acually a comment.

  • this is awesome!

  • I love this.. LMAO!

  • ok... I like the other one better. Alot better.

  • She's in the kdrama "On Air". Amazing there, amazing here. Who would've thought she could sing like this, she has a hoarse voice.

  • she's originally a musical actress lol and she can sing sweetly too. She is singing like this because her character is Mrs. Lovett.

    She is awesome!!

  • i would rape this Sweeney, lol Mrs Lovett

  • Badass! I didn't know they had a Korean translation for the song! ^_^

  • OMG! This Mrs. Lovett is AWESOME!!

  • How amazing they translated the song from English to Korean to suit the Korean audiences!

  • 0:40

    hahahahaha! "AHH!"

  • its in korean....she isn't just saying uh...

  • actually she is. all of those grunts and stuff are actually written into the score...

  • Its not Japanese, its Korean.

  • Omg!!! This Sweeney is sooo Hott!!!

  • lol im so stupid. IM SORRY EVERONE its not japanese, i know

  • woah!!! i never thought an an asian sweeney todd, amazing haha love it

  • This is...amazing.

She has an extremely good stage presence.

  • *giggle*

  • i cant understand japenesse but this is entertaining anways

  • it is not japanese it very much so clearly says korean in the title !

  • its korean. not japanese.

  • IT's KOREAN!!!! NOT JAPANESE!!

  • Shes got a voice!

  • haha i really like this one even if it is in another language =]

  • i love it

it's like they put the darkness of the movie together with the humor of the orginal broadway play

  • OMG, this is great, haha :P

    Her voice is amazing

  • hahaha what a hilarious ending

  • they are good! and sweeney is scared of luvet that is sooo funny

  • sweeney doesnt seem like the way sweeney should be. and hes like scared of luvett

  • what you mean 'the way sweeney should be'? i'v watched this musical with another luvett cast and this sweeney, and i bet he was awesome. by the way, Ryu Jeong Han(sweeney)is on of the most famous musical actor in korea

  • i just think that sweeney should be more grim. After all, dont you think that you would be grim after being locked away for 15 years on a foolish charge and then almost dying when you try to escape and get back to your family???

  • i agree with sweeney's 'grim', but anyway this is not a 'sweeney's song. this is luvett's. don't u think it's too fast to judge an actor, before u watch some singings, and acting?

  • and don't u think its too fast to judge someone commenting on a video, before u know what they have seen of certain actors and actresses??

  • Omg! This is so cool!

  • haha! i love it when the flour flies everywhere on sweeney.

  • Oh i was laughing aloud when she was manhandling Sweeney.

  • the guy seems terrified of her.

  • I'd be scared of her, too.

  • WOW...she sings GREAT!!!

  • What a gorgeous voice she has!!

  • I really wish I could see the whole show! I can tell based on the clips that are available that it is an amazing performance.

  • *stands in awe of this* Man, this runs every English production of this into the ground... xD

  • the ending, where she plays the drums on the dough is HILLARIOUS!

  • haha i LOVE IT

  • OMG This is totally awesome! I'm all gitty over this.

  • After seeing this, now I want to see guys and dolls in korean!

  • Hilariously aggressive way of making pies. 00:40 XD

  • This is so funny! I love this version. =D

  • omg.. I would love to buy this.. I like watching musicals in other languages and I really like this.. and also the guy playing Sweeny is uber hott =]

  • that's so cute! so the question is... does she molest all her customers, or is sweeney special?

yeah, sweeney is probably special. ;)

  • wow!!! love the ending lol!

  • its still the same, but its more like: "the worst dumplings in Korea" (that was soooo not racsist, i'm korean, well part)

  • lmfao!

  • XD

    lol

  • i was cracking up when she smacked down that rolling pin and flour went everywhere

  • I love his pained jump and grimace when she suddenly grabs his shoulders and starts... "massaging" him? XD And smacks him. XD He's all, (@_X)

  • she has an amazing voice... but i cant get over how ridiculous this is

  • It's awesome seeing how different people interpret the same musical. I love the clouds of flour.

  • ooo..sweeney in korean or japanese. awsome!

  • It's Korean.

  • She is wonderful. She is a very good actress with a beautiful voice.

  • This is brilliant :D

  • this just makes my day...i just keep seeing angela lansbury singing in korean. hilarious.

  • Now, see! This is why YouTube is beautiful. :P I had no idea that I would ever hear this song in Korean, let alone see it acted.

The lady playing Lovett has a beautiful voice. Who is she?

  • She is a musical actor in S.Korea named Hong Ji-min! She really did amazing job on stage in this production :)

  • Thanks, Angela!

  • this is great!!!

  • OMFG this is so funny!!!

  • VERY, VERY, FUNNY!

  • She's awesome.

  • That was so awesome.

  • omggg that was so fkn coool.

i love sweeneys face at 2:16 rofl

  • I love when she smacks the rolling pin on the table and flour goes everywhere!

  • WOW. This is very reminiscent of Angela Lansbury's version in the way that she puts so much energy and movement into the scene. They do a great job playing up the dark comedy of the scene. Love the flour!

Hehe, Sweeney almost looks afraid of her at moments. Very, very cool!

  • Such a great performance!

  • that pause at 1:14 is WAAAY too long. other than that, this is incredible!

  • Where can i get this production on DVD?

  • <3333 it!!!!

well of course i would look at the facts

    1. im obssesed with sweeney todd

    and

    2. im korean!

  • Those are two wonderful attributes for a person.

  • Hee hee... I love her! I like the look on Todd's face when she gets all the flour all over him toward the beginning. This looks like it was a very good production.

  • Wow that was awesome!!!! I love what she does at the end lmao, it must be so hard singing and doing all that action at the same time. She makes an awesome Mrs Lovett.

  • lol that was cool

  • lol i like her

  • I really loved this show!!and I love This Mrs.Lovett!!! Hong Jimin is incredible!!!

  • I think we need a locale and song title change for this production, the"worst pies in Seoul".Bloody Marvelous, however.

  • Haha, that's funny. The worst pieeees in seeeeooooul!
