It really reminds me of the PS1 days. Thats when I grew up. The days of Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, and Final Fantasy. Every time I look back on those memories, I always get that same picture in my head.
A red sunset sky back in my original city that I grew up in, playing the oldschool Playstation games. Haha, who would've ever thought video games would make such an emotional impact on me.

@xmisogyny Yes if you return the the Church when your on disk 3 she will appear in the top corner for like 3 seconds the first time you go there. AFter that she's only there for around a split second, try Youtubing it

I played and watched every Final Fantasy game and movie (Crisis Core, Dirge of Cerberus, Advent Children, On a way to smile, Before Crisis), except for the original Final Fantasy VII. I finally got it now and I so far played up to the part where he leaves Aerith's house. I was about to cry since I know what's going to happen. This game is amazing. I don't care if it's PS1, it's better than ALL games coming out these days. Long Live Final Fantasy VII. A beautiful masterpiece.

@Rexorsist I know how it feels..Around 2006 (when I played FF VII for the first time) I was almost crying in the part where Cloud go on the gondola thing with Aeris (I say Aeris cause Aerith sounds so ugly) , my eyes were sooo watery U_U..I think that was the saddest part for me because I knew what was going to happen too (Damn magazines!)

The official Japanese spelling is Aerith, which is why it was changed to that in America several years later for the later FF7 games (and movie) and the Kingdom Hearts series. This music plays during Cloud's dream when Aeris waves goodbye inside the Sleeping Forest. It's the last time she speaks to him in the game. "And I'll take care of Sephiroth." She runs off into the horizon while Cloud watches helplessly. Sigh...

@moomooimacat Yeah and Angeal gave his buster sword to Zack who in turn gives it to Cloud.. It kinda sucks that Aeris never gets to know that Cloud actually knew Zack, because Cloud is so mentally traumatized he forgets who Zack is, especially considering Cloud saw Zack die

@moomooimacat It's just how Cloud is. Considering everything that happened to him (no friends, failed to become a soldier, village destroyed as well as the Jenova mind fuck and experiments) I don't really blame him. However in Crisis Core he was a lot less emo and a lot more naive and innocent.

The way the japanese pronounce it is: Ae-ri-su. So Aeris comes closer than Aerith. I think FF VII was the first time where I lost someone dear to me.

i heard tat in the japanese version of the game, Aerith comes back alive if u visit the place where Cloud laid her to rest!
not sure if this is true but at tat time my sister did so much research at tat time and claimed tat she can come back if u visit her grave in the japanese version. even to this day she still addicted to it to the game and still plays it.

Always hated Aeris, but every melody related to her is amazing, including this one! So awesome, brings me back to 1997's cold winter, with a hot chocolate and this fantastic game! I was only 8 back then, but seems like it was only yesterday. ((

Hey, there reason why there two Aeris and Aerith. The English Version is Aeris and the Japan is Aerith.
