  • Decent job there. I cant stand blindsiding a freightliner wide body. You just get a flat out shitty view out of that passenger mirror. Alot easier in a narrow body truck like a W900, mirrors has a different view angle cuz its mounted closer in.

  • trucker steve you are an id10t!

  • TruckerSteve, you're the man.

  • G.O.A.L

  • That's good Steve ,i need you to teach me that..

  • Ha ha!! You forgot to open the trlr doors! Lol. Nice camera angle! Great place for the bed of the pick-up truck too. Hides the spotter nicely..

  • @slowfr8 LMAO -- That "spotter" was a idiot in my way.. I had to stop at one point and get him to move... LOL

  • Who the feck designs these stupid areas with no room for transport.?

  • I can do this in my sleep still waiting for the impossible part......

  • Did that scratch your truck rubbing up against that tree?

  • he backed blindside at that. moving the axles or not, excellent job!!!

  • @icucoming Thanks for the comment and support brother! Moving the axles would have only made it easier for sure!

  • Excellent job! We have places like that in Finland too... I'm a trucker too, currently freezing myself in north Finland LOL

  • @Dlenn2 Very cool brother! I would love to come over there and drive! I would like to take a tour over there sometime this year... Look froward to hearing from you again brother trucker

  • @Whitelinefilms You would be indeed welcome! For clarification, I'm not a brother trucker, but a sister trucker LOL

  • @Dlenn2 10 fer trucker sister!

  • maybe he can doit with moving the stupid axles. stupid. stupid. ha

  • LOVE YOUR VIDEOS,SEE YA ON THE BIG ROAD.

  • now that's what i call skills. as i say if you don't have the skills you cant pay the bills.

  • ciao in ITALY e sempre cosi..se non peggio ciao

  • @MrBRONXWEST Well you have to admit that was pretty good for not having a back window. If you just sit in any area where trucks congregate you know you see some real dicked up drivers.

  • Objects in mirror are closer than they appear.

  • Got Mad skills like Kobe Bryant , Tiger Woods and Kyle Busch...

  • ya still cheated

  • ah bitch ya cheated ya moved the wheels up

  • @harlee69 The axle where set for legal bridge!

  • @Whitelinefilms i cant tell you how many times ive had to that shit and i allways say to myself if i find the ass that promised a customer i would put a truck there ill kick his ass

  • great job, I hope to be able to do that some day

  • good job on that.

  • how do you get out ?

  • Good backing there brother-man

  • A wireless reversing camera would be a cool gadget to get for your wagon man

  • So Steve, tell us more. A.) Quite possibly, what was in one of those storage units that they couldn't bring out with a forklift/pallet jack? B.) Was pulling out any simpler?

C.) Did your bill of lading (<mission?) self-destruct after you read it? Finally, my first was, "Well, he's dropping off /picking up at least two units of a families furniture." But, you merely drive a van trailer, not a moving truck. I suppose I'db really like to know, why would you do this if there's not an easier way?

  • @MrBRONXWEST Why would I do that when Millions of people do it for me? huh? For real tho, most truckers are arrogant I just happen to be THE BEST!

  • Awesome job steve...;)

  • If I could only be half as good as you at backing a truck .

  • try whipping that thing around little storage units to deliver real challenge. yes i used to do it daily not any fun

  • A little bit less YouTube, and a little bit more delivering stuff- that would make you a good truck driver..!

  • @whippet1750 why is that???

  • @Whitelinefilms ...he likes watching truckrs getting bills signed i guess

  • @whippet1750 I think some of his videos are informative about something he has a passion 4 arent you watching videos on youtube?

  • Please!!!

  • Pfftt...done like a rookie..hahahaha...just kidding bro...cant remember if I had seen this one before. I see it's an oldie though.

  • nice job!

  • doing stuff like this is easy...whats so hard about it...i drive a chev 3500 courier van and find myself blindsiding like this all the time

  • @maidenrulz73 Well for starters my vehicle is 73 ft in length and articulates a courier van does not. The blindside was not the challenge as much as the objects that where from the edge of the building didn't leave any room and ever with your little courier van you would have had a hell of a time!

  • @Whitelinefilms lol i was just f'kin around...i thought the comparison might be funny ...great vids btw

  • @maidenrulz73 lmao u crack me up.. You had me going for a minute

  • nice job steve, i hate blind sides, do everything in my power to avoid them, i always get out and have a look, hate that what if feeling, better to be safe than filling out a claim form!!!!!!

  • try to back up full in a 360 turn

  • @BNSFTIM55 Nothing hard about that at all.

  • Try that without some jack fool helping you with directions.

  • @ChiefOren That guy was not my flagger he was another obstacle in my way. Mind you he thought he was being nice. I was more worried about hitting him then anything else.

  • @Whitelinefilms yeah I can relate to that. Lot of times they just wave you into a corner. (with a few scrapes on the way). Be well.

  • i mess with my right mirror when backing up blind side that way it's bit easier.....

  • Well atleast you had a spotter out there for ya as we can see to the right of the video, I was never that lucky had to do it on my own.

  • All with the aid of only at least one semi sneaky spotter!!- I couldn't drive a greasy stick up a dogs arse though, so who am I to judge.

  • hey dude good job backing that beeatch in there. 117161631 is jealous u wont let him play with your bald knob LOL, LOL n e ways keep up the vids dude. they always going to be somebody drinking that hateraid. (QUIT HATING MUTH3R FUK3ERS)

  • nice job steve, anyone who says this isnt impressive is an idiot, yea alot of drivers can do it, but not without gettin out, pullin up, or having a spotter, @11716131 i seen ur comments, and ur vids, we're talkin about drivin a semi not a pussy scion, so like the others said stop talkin shit n post a video, and u say u been driving since ur 19 and ur 21 now, anyway, you'll learn greenhorn, overconfidence causes accidents rookie, i'm a young driver too (Boston) ,rule#1 don't talk shit, good luck

  • good job! this reminds me of many places i went in newark or nyc. many people just dont realize how hard it can be for us with a long sleeper and a 53 feet trailers (some places are just designed for a day cab+48 feet trailer...and ppl keep laughing at me because i take more time figuring out a way to get to the dock)

  • moron, why not just pull in straight and back in on your drivers side. who the hell you tryin to impress

  • good job but what took so long ....... hahahha

  • Blind side aint so bad...moto-mirrors thank God 4 those.....Ive been driving 17 years....just got laid off in dec-09........did LA for 8 years straight from SC every week..........Take yer time and always scan mirrors and know whats around you...know yer truck{turn radious}...one blind side ill never attemp though...is blindside in tight truckstop...and ive never had to say "OOPS".

  • that was impressive!

  • Now thats skill!

  • Remeber G.O.A.L

  • great job! I started driving 2 years ago, first I did highway stuff, mostly to big places with big docks, lots of room. 3 months after i move into the big city. At the beginning I would stress out because It was very difficult. I just took my time, got out the truck to check and recheck- I couldn't give a shit who was waiting behind me. After a while I got a lot better and now I am completely comfortable. After 2 years I still have a lot to learn, but I always drive safe.

  • 117161631 Why don`t you post a video of blindside backing your pete with sleeper in some tight spot with no room for pull up somewhere in LA ? If you do it almost everyday you shouldn`t have a problem making some video for us. I am waiting 117161631

  • one more thing,, i am 21 yr old. i started when i was 19.

  • ima local driver in downtown LA, i do this kinda thing almost everyday, im driving a 04 pete with sleeper, i wouldnt think that was hard???

  • I come to LA all the time would you be hip to a little follow the leader backing challenge? you in your rig me in my rig 5 different holes person with the fewest pull ups wins (getting out counts as a pull up)? You game mister big talker? I'll be in LA in 3 days from today... Don't chicken out now!

Put up a hundred dollars if your so much better then me? LOL

  • That looks like to me it would be hell to get back out...

  • P.S.

What makes it difficult is not little room, or blinside, or sleeper obstructing view to the right, or no room for pull-up but combination of these 4 factors

  • It was very dificult backing:

    - Little room,

    - blind side,

    - over the road truck with sleeper (view obstruction)

    - no room for a pull up. I am impressed that you didn`t have to get out and look, and you did it very smoothly. If enybody says it was not impressive that is how i know he is just a driver of daycab truck or yard jockey driving very short trucktor with no sleeper or perheps a 14 year old kid that thinks he knows it all because his daddy took him on the road several times

  • That is exactly right, such as the case for 14 year old 11716131. Most guys/gals think they are the best. I never claimed to be but would be willing to meet with any of these Locals/Hostlers who think they are better then me.

  • theres no mission impossible if You do it patiently!when I started driving trucks I was tragic when it came to reversing but it was all just a lack of patient, now at least I know what I did wrong those days:-D 5* for the clip and reversing!

  • No such thing as blindsiding anymore with power mirrors. And with that shortend wheelbase that was a walk in the park.

  • Excellent job blindsiding my friend, need to stress GOAL( get out and look) in situations like that if you dont have a spotter. Now lets see that with a ex hood pete lol. God vids bro

  • wow your my hero when I grow up I wana be just like you!

  • As a newbie driver, I enjoy watching stuff like this. It shows what experience can/will do for someone, especially if they are dedicated and love the job. I think lesser men would have said "fek it" and found another place to park.

Hats off Steve. I've enjoyed all of your videos , they've helped to get me ramped up for my new career.

  • I would have gotten frustrated with that one. Nice job Steve!!

  • Yea pretty good, not knocking ya, but it was in a century class! In a Pete or a KW maybe it would be a little more impressive Bud!

  • you're right about that tho. I would have been much more impressed myself. If I had either of them rigs it would have been..

  • Sorry Steve not impressed not all that hard plenty of room done it with less space between trailers lots of times. Nice job backing but wasnt all that.Sorry not picking on ya but it wasnt all that.

  • HAHA - love your comment! Room between the buildings was not a problem at all. The problem was the lack of room between the buildings and the end of the concrete parked cars and RV's.

  • Check out 1:37 to see what was being blocked from view by the trees.

  • there is tones of room there not impressed sorry

  • STEVE i give you 15 points out of 10..nice blind side manuever.. the yard jockie hes full of sh.t, is a big diferent on a truck with sleeperberth.. i will call him a trucker wanna be..

  • damm thats a good backing job..I have been thinking about becoming a trucker

  • my thats not mission impossible thats mission everyday do you think that you are the only truker backing in blind stop it your killen me, supper truc ker you should try yard donkey 100 plus moves a day and not all day to do it i see you roadys all the time you guys can't back up to save your ass

  • Your sitting there talk shit to me about how great you are and you have the balls to call me a supper trucker (you mean super trucker, but spelling is not your strong point)

I had just over 30 feet from build stalls to objects in front of me. Some roadies might back worth a shit but I'm not one of those roadies.

I would be a super trucker if I bragged that I'm a two time state truck driving champion. Or that I can take a road tractor and out back most yard pussies I mean jockies.

  • hey steve dont let that yard jockey talk crap about you. hell id love to see one of those guys try that with a road tractor. ya most of the yard jockeys are real good at backing but they wont smack talk you i bet that person dont even have a cdl

  • Kill yourself, happytobehim. Sometimes, suicide IS the answer.

  • im sure by "mission impossible backing" he meant it as a figure of speach so dont be so cocky cuz of course any 1 with a class a cdl can back up threw there blind spot it jus takes some practice

  • Damn now that some backing up great job

  • I used to work for a refer company and they would have us deliver to places like that. 7 or 8 drops at mini malls, you were lucky if you got unloaded in 1 day. They would hall anything back to CA, so we could p/u more produce. I say drivers need to stand up against crap like that, if you don't have a dock, deliver it to a dist. company. Loads like that are for LTL companies.

  • Which company was that? I will make sure that I don't apply for them. Thanks

  • good idea but in the real world the transport manage would vito that, as its to expensive

  • it's 30 feet wide..

  • It dosent matter realy, it's blind side, he cant see where he's going, even if it's wide it's still hard and a hell of a mind f*ck.

  • jump out 2or3 times it aint rocket science..mind fuck??if youre stupid maybe...should call this vid mission common sense...get out and look ...pretty easy shit.....mind fuck lol give youre head a shake....

  • Lol the hell with that man!! Nice job backing. Iv'e had some that were a bitch but not like that one. Plus it took me more then 15 mins due to getting out and looking allot lol. Better safe then sorry right? Great job Steve!

  • Nice job backing. Using that spotter was a help I bet.

  • Beauty of a blind-side back!

  • well done! why were u backing up at a storage though?? i thought u delivered to just stores and stuff?

  • nice job i just think you should have gotten out to see where you were backing . after all blind is blind

  • ua a baderse trucker fuck men.u backit up good job.why not b a pilot.LOL

  • English please?

  • LOL. That'd be a bitch even with a hotshot and a daycab... It reminds me of the route i got stuck on delivering to a college store. I had to back across the 4 lane main drag, going uphill (of course) then after 300 yards, make a 90 into the unlit loading dock at about 10-11 at night... 65' refer with a FLD 120...

  • Wow great job! what did it take you 30 min. to get in there? You turned the camera off 3 or 4 time lol. May trucking the bottom of the barrel!

  • It took me 3 minutes. There was no cut in the video I overlayed a couple of photos to show what the obstacles where. Your just another asshole with no video of you doing it any better. If you can prove me that your better I would like to see that! LOL way to go SUPER TRUCKER!

  • hi steve im form ireland and was wondering is there much work over there 4 a truck driver it would be cool 2 do dat good job backing up how long have u been doing this four

  • I want a vid of you geting back out!

  • your fucking good!!!

  • Very Good Job Steve and as for tht dumb ass with his east coast shit tht shows u hes a fucking idiot!! Keep them coming be safe out there!!

  • why did you have to back in there blind side? looked like there was plenty of room to back in normal. Just curious.

  • Mission Impossible? Why? Check it at 3:25 you could put ANOTHER truck in there and THEN call it a tight spot!! All you guys who never leave the mid-west just dont know what to do with all the wide open space out there. Get yourselves out east where we actually DO what yall like to talk big about . Git r done? Yeah, but only after trying for half an hour and then you need to talk about it on the CB for 2 weeks after! Or now, I guess its posting on Youtube

  • Boy you sure are a billy big rigger! LOL, If you watch the video it is not the amount of room in between the buildings that is a problem it is the lack of room from the edge of the building to the vehicles blocking me.

As far as your east coast comment, I drive out there as well, no big deal. I didn't post this video to brag, I posted the video because a lot of new drivers want to see how it is done. I was requested to do it so I did it.

  • I would be bragging if I told you I am a road team ambassador, two time state truck driving champion, a supporter of the special Olympics convoy and trucker buddy international. Or that I have been nominate twice for the Highway hero award?

Bragging would be telling you that chances are I can back circles around you! Or that I have done more miles in reverse then you have in forward gears!

But eh your the one who is the big old super trucker right? LOL you crack me up with your stupid shit

  • Hater.....

  • Mr Steve... no matter what you do on here you'll always have some sit at home know it all in his Mama's basement that can't get his K car out of the driveway without scratching it telling you that what you did sucked. Ignore the pricks and keep doing what you do.

  • Long haul drivers are the worst at Backing!

  • Possibly... but I would think that flatbedders are (l'm a flatbedder) because most of us pull into job sites and don't have to pull up to docks usually. Most of our backing is at truck stops.

  • Exactly why was that so hard? I do that all the time with no help. Want experience? Go to work for a freight company( LTL) get all the experience you can stand!

  • True gangsta style!

  • gangsta's dont have jobs lol

  • Go job steve. You are right ! 8 out of 10 drivers are really "BAD" backers. You are either born a natural backer or you are not. And yes even natural backers need to practice. I have had to blindside jackknife trailers into impossible spaces a few times. Get a Texas CDL and you will learn to back ! lol

  • parabens pelo video, muito bom, vi a maioria de seus videos e achei eles muito bem feitos....

  • keep the shiny side up an the greasy side down

  • I dont understand why backing is so hard for rookies you can only go 2 ways.If you aint going right go the other way...As for this you had a guy flagging for you what was hard about it?

  • The flagger was not telling what to do simply looking out to make sure I didn't hit anything. The difficulty here is that there is limit space from the opening of the hole to the vehicles(objects in my way) Not many drivers could have managed with a guide and on there drivers side. This type of skill takes time to work on.

  • Correction... it was 2005

  • My last drivin stint was with May. Really like them. Dispatcher was a big ol' jolly guy- forgot his name. Drove down here outta Pensacola. Kept my wheels turnin.'

  • i fuckin hate blind siding! my volvo has power mirrors so that makes it easyer ;)

  • very easy with spot mirror on hood not so easy without

  • easy

  • I've had drivers, who I was parking next to,get out and thank me for getting out to look.I'm 25 and look 17 lol so a lot of times guys ask if I'm even old enough to drive truck.

  • lucky you

  • sometime you go in can t get out lol. lol.

  • I've been made fun of once or twice but I 'always' get out and look. I'd rather take the time than tear something up.

  • nice back and this is why i dont work for may anymore. i constantly went to places and had to do shit like that. even worse doing reefer and getting there damn nursey loads with 5 stops in nyc. damn you may trucking!!!!!!!!!

  • This was not a back I had to do for "MAY" this is actually where I securely parked my rig while on home time. At that time anyhow.

  • Hey bro. I love your vids! Hey, how many time you spend on the road, and at home? (avarage)

Keep rolling and God bless ya!

  • try 18 stops bronx brooklyn queens in a snow storm

  • Blindsideing sorts the men from the boys, seize the challenge, anyone can drive straight ahead down the road....The harder it is the more satisfieing...just like good sex...........................

  • The best way to learn how to backup trailers is to practice with a Yard Goat/Yard Tractor.

  • thats precision driving right there. Have you ever had a accident doing that before?

  • nice job, I hate blind sideing it. And i agree its a bitch. No way i would have attempted it in the piece of crap truck i started with.

  • Don't get into that situation; make them come and get their stuff. Not with my truck. Or, perhaps pull in and back where you can see. Good job though. Now pull out..

  • this is where the windows in my sleeper come in handy. just look over your shoulder and out the window- perfect for blind siding!

  • That's when you look around, and feel grateful you're driving a Century. Tricky in a Century often means pert nigh impossible for a long-nose. I'd have had my hood in that tree for sure.

BTW, were the cuts in video to cover getting out and looking?

  • nice job i had to do that a couple times and it is a bitch....

  • i wouldve hit something

  • That's really tough...with a spotter.

  • Ahhh he's just show'n off!!! hahaha...right on brother!

  • This guy is not all that. He took too much time to back up. I would've done better.

  • Yeah this guy stinks.

  • Better to take time and do it nice and slow and try to get in a hurry.

  • that one back is enough work for a week

  • How long have yu been driving??? That was a cool video...and the music was cool too...i would be sweatin bullets if i had to back up in there!!! Nice job!!!! Lets see some more videos like that!!!!

  • thats good but not hard if you have experience, you have a good aim point on both sides, quite easy actually.

  • blind backing blows

  • Now thats a back up job there..Quick question Steve since when did May contract with the Mob?

I can hear it now "Hey Veedo,I got a shipment I gotta move from the Storage units,Yeah that trucker steve guy,Yeah the one that makes those funny youtube vid's" Just dont go an wake up in your sleeper with a dead horses head .. keep'm comin.

  • you got skills driver! and yeah power mirrors are the only way, i dunno what i would do without em :)

  • Not only had butterflies in my stomach, my heart was in my throat and I nearly fell off the edge of my chair..........lol!!! the music was perfect~~~~~AWESOME VID!!!

  • nice job that was better then most of the guys out there could have done cuz like it was said on one of the other comm. they jt out for a paycheck not cuz they love the road lol.

  • i like the paycheck, i got a good gig, but the whole reason i drive is love of the road, ive been driving for sysco for years, but in a bobtail, im green to class A, but still got hooked on a good gig, free training and experiance, with good pay. I wouldnt do anything else, small company no micro management, and i got a sweet truck to drive. and its a dedicated run. 2008 Volvo VNL64T730 is the pic on google pics, same cab/sleeper/color, not a full condo, but fully loaded.
