As for Brooke Breedwell they did an update about her in Painted Babies 17, she isn't involved in pageants anymore and has turned out to be a well rounded young lady. We all know about Jon Bonet's tragic life, but the weird ironic thing is the 3 of them were all around the same age and looked a lot alike...All just stunningly beautiful...

I thought Swan was one of the most beautiful child beauty pageant queens of her time, right along with Jon Bonet Ramsey and Brooke Breedwell. No one knows exactly what happened to Swan, we know that her mom died shortly after the doc was filmed, and then she went 2 live with her father in Alaska & he also died. So Sad...I feel like she would of been a mega star had she of been able to continue. I just hope she is leading a happy healthy life somewhere out there.

i was actually very upset watching this whole thing. she may not have been a bad person but the way they edited this documentary...she looked so mean. i saw sadness in Swan's eyes so much and every second shot she was being put down "do it right" "you won't win talent" "next time you will do it right, right?" "she forgot her words" "swan, do it again" "do it again" "come here and do it again" i never heard..."do your best and i will be proud of you" not once. saddens me.

im concerned about the mothers attitude to men. that one old guy she was just pumping for cash, and her son she just completely neglected. if getting thrown in prison wont get some attention from your mom then i dont know what will. i hope swan has a chance to reflect on her mothers clear disdain for men, realize it is not normal, and decide for herself whether she would like to recognize the common humanity of the opposite sex. peace.

Her father passed away a couple of years ago as well, so Swan and her brother live with their older sister, now. These kids have had such a tragic life.

Word gets around the internet, particularly when you're at the center of a documentary or reality show. A fair amount of this can be read on wikipedia, but not all of it. Either way, I hope you're doing alright. These child pageant things are rather concerning to me. They seem like a hotbed of potential emotional and mental abuse and damage, as well as generally maladjustment. Either way, as long as you're doing alright, that's what's important.

This vid was really fuzzy & grainy w/ way too loud audio! The title drew me in because I thought it was new pix & info about Swan. I feel so sad for her because she has had such tragedy in her short life. She loved her Mommy & the whole pageant "thing" & due to her mama's sudden death, she wasn't able to keep the other, which could've helped her work through the pain with the love & friendship she'd had in pageantry. If you don't like pageants, don't rip on the kids! R.I.P. Robyn

Swan, last I heard, is that she is 14. She is not doing pageants anymore. Her mom died of cancer (I believe). She moved in with her Dad and he also passed. She moved in with her sister, whom was old enough now, but Her sister does not want her anymore. So I don't know where she is now. : (
