I cant believe nearly nobody talks of Chris Amott's work on this song. Christopher is pure guitar genius ! I think his playing is much more convincing than Jesper's or Bjorn's (still do they rock, but Chris Amott kicks asses !)
wiki: Art is the product or process of deliberately arranging items in a way that influences and affects one or more of the senses, emotions, and intellect.
Clayman affects all three categories so it's a piece of art. Proved.
Sure that the "older" In flames had better "Guitar skills", but u cant use this song as an example, since the guitarsolo in this song is made by Chris Amott from Arch enemey.
Suburban Me is a 15 year old who listens to the dopest shit in my entire high school, like In Flames, Lamb of God, Soilwork, Black Dhalia Murder, Korn, and other kick ass brutal metal!!!
That's the In Flames we first listened and loved...beautiful brutal vocals, amazing guitar tracks! I mean, their solos remind me of some Iron Maiden's solos (same scales, different tunning)
Well Andre Olbrich of Blind Guardian is an excellent guitarist.Chris Amott?I don't see something so skilled into this solo worth telling it sheds like hell.Andre riffs burn like the flame which turns to ashes a sheat of paper. For a great guitarist was Chris Oliva of Savatage(died 1993 in a car accident)he was amazing great he was one with his guitar. For me Ach Enemy are nothing compared to the Old music of In Flames.
: D haha you israels are way too busy for music. I haven't seen any non-relicious news of your country. Or well i've seen war news too. But this is probably the first time i see someone from israel on internet.
Personally....The older In Flames guitar skillz were so much more KICK ASS then the modern....Don;t get me wrong....The modern in Flames still Rocks, but the older In Flames will rain superior
'Guitar skillz' wise they are about the same as they always were, provided you are talking technique here? The solo in this song is not by any of the members of the band, its Chris Amott of Arch enemy, hence it shreds like hell! Inflames guitarist were never really big technique guys, just great melodies!
@GoldenSquad Agree for THAT song at least, the intro is so awesooome! No, what am I saying?! The whole song rules so much! The solo sent me to the sky
This is probably one of the most meaningful songs by them to me. Not only do I completely understand it, but I see it all around me. Its quite funny actually :D

In flames had so much more imagination on their earlier works.
now adays everything they throw out feels like its just reused trash put together quickly and made for the money...
Though there are a few bands in this world that deserve money however they can get it, and inflames is one of them :)
