Guess what everyone, Holden is owned by GM... sooo go **ck yourself? GM has been doing that alot where they take out of country products and slap a different tag on it. Nothing wrong with that. Plus Pontiac makes it look better :)

GM doesn't have the balls anymore to create a decent performance car and Holden alone could do perfectly well without any help from GM in these days.

And the GXP/GT looks just the same, no difference there except the engine.

Where did you get that info from. My mate is a clay model designer for GM Holden in Australia and he doesn't actually know of any americans that worked on the project. Please elaborate and i will confirm for all the readers here.

my bad. U.S GM officials only oversaw production. i misread the article. however, its an american designed engine. no engine= no go. Either way im proud to know the Holden is under the GM umbrella. Id have to say its my favorite brand that GM has along with Cadillac and Pontiac of course since thats what some of Holden cars get migrated to.

true, american cars have started to become nicer and more upscale in terms of affordablity and value for what you get, and the 300c from crysler started it, then ford made the mustang re-design a major success.

check out HSV GTS which has just come out in australia, thats the car the gxp is based off i think very little is different except the cosmetics. rumor is HSV are gonna drop the 7.0 litre in and call it a GTS-R. Fingers crossed for you yanks that it goes there to!
